Could Lady have been part wire...

Okay here's the deal a long time ago my aunt and uncle went to the doggie jail (this is what we call it in our home) and fell head over heart in love with this little black dog. She was the one who chose them actually. When they went by her cage she started showing off: rolling over and begging. She didn't do this for anyone else so of course they took her home. Now that I know the traits of dachshunds I can say she had quite a few of them. Her ears weren't long though so I know she wasn't full dachshund but would you say? Anyone? Sadly Lady died when she escaped and was hit by a trash truck. It was truly a sad day long ago.

I doubt if she was part wirehair dachshund but she could have had some other dachsie. I am a groomer and I use to have a client that had a smooth dachsie/poo cross. That darn dog had a better coat than my wires at the time and looked exactly like one :) . Ears were a tad shorter.
