What color are your doxies? Just curious, really. Timber is black and tan.

Frank is a red long hair standard with some black highlights on the leading edge of his ears and on his tail. Tanner is a B&T Dapple mini longhair.

Hi,

Mine are both considered red, but Hans is more of a chocalately red with tan highlights on his tummy and but and a very dark speckled stripe down his back, and Bean is a golden tan with red tone. Since Hans is twice the size of Bean, one of their nicknames is Big Brown and Little Goldie.

[Lili's Mama]

Lili is listed on her AKC papers to be a red/piebald but she has black highlights in the red and red ticking in the white spots. She is a tiny 7 pounds of sleek, smooth "cuteness".

Henry is a smooth red sable (red with black overlay) mini (tweenie)...he's on a diet, but normally he weighs about 14.5-15 pounds

Jakey is also a smooth red sable mini...but smaller and a little lighter. He weighs 13 pounds and looks so tiny compared to Hen.

Bugsy is a wild boar, mini-wire.
He weighs about 10 lbs.

I wonder if we could make a chart out of this info. I'm very interested to see that there are so many wires. Bugsy is our first wire and people are always asking what kind of dog he is.

Augie is a spoiled 9 month old, 20 pound red standard with some tan around the shoulders and his butt.

Twix is also a spoiled (and onery) red mini. When I got her as a pup she was chocolate and tan but that didn't last long!

Brutus is long-haired red dachie with a ribbon of black going down his spine to the end of his tail. His mom's name is Duff's Velvet Eyes, and he certainly has acquired that trait. We rescued him from the dog pound in 1998. Imagine bringing someone so sweet as him to a pound. Their loss was our gain.

Maggie is a 10 lb black and tan smooth. (Er...with a few stark white, hairless spots on her legs and flanks where her battle scars have not fully healed yet.)
Penny is shorter and smaller than Maggie, but very muscular. She also weighs 10 lbs. She is a smooth red with a lot of black on her back and tail.
