I came across this link on nopuppymills.com it just reminds and re-enforced my belief in shutting puppymills down!! I have been downed alot lately (not here) because i choose to speak bluntly about these issues! ... Georgia reminds me of why i do!!

Sad but with such a happy ending. Very inspirational to me at this moment - I think I'll remember this. Thanks.

so sad, every time i read about how terrible these puppy mills are, it sickens me.....how do those people sleep at nite? wonderful that this one found a good home. the story gave me chillbumps, it is really F#@$ed up that there even are dog auctions. the more i read, the more i know i have to become more involved in rescue, more than just checking the local shelter. have recently contacted a rescue organization, sent in application, waiting on their response. i was unaware of how bad things are until finding this board, i rescued my dachsie sort of by accident......she was given up because her first litter of pups died, therefore she was useless to the breeder. and at first i thought i would breed her, but have definitely changed my mind about that, she will be spayed very soon.
