View Full Version : A Source for Stuffed Animals?

We are looking for a source for stuffed animals that don't have the hard plastic eyeballs (Pip goes right after them and we are afraid of the choking hazard). We've scoured this whole town an can't find anything. Pip loves stuffed animals (to sleep/chew on) and we were hoping one of ya'll might have an online source we can check out. They need to be pretty good sized- 30-48 inches long. Thanks in advance.

Walmart in Tucson and Kmart have them in the Pet section. They don't have the hard ball type eyes. I just looked at them Friday when I went to Tucson.

PetEdge would be my suggestion too. Just got a whole bunch of cheap toys for Tasha, and a new kong, and a memory foam mattress. Great stuff at low prices.

Wow! I wasn't even looking to buy when I read this thread. :) PetEdge looks like a wholesale retailer -fantastic prices! It looks like a great place to buy bulk items to donate to rescue. :) Thanks DBB!!

Lori you are right about Big Lots, I love to go there to. Some of the Dollar Store's have nice toys for pets also. Target does to.

Good luck! Cricket is banned from anything stuffed. He destuffs them within minutes and I have found stuffing in his poo along w/the material the toy was made of :yikes: . I wish he wouldn't eat them because we loved playing "catch" with him with all the squeeky stuffed toys.

Check out the clearance section of PetEdge. I do everytime I order. I've had some duds, some things that got shredded in no time, but then there were also these big chickens that I ordered that he just loves. They are big, well made, they were CHEAP on clearance so I ordered 2, somewhere along the lines of less than 2.00 each. One is still put away. He just recently managed to destuff one leg (chewed the toes till he managed to get in) but the way it is made, he can't get to the belly stuff so it'll be around for a while longer. I try to stay away from the blob type of stuffed toys, like a stuffed pig or sheep or something, because it makes them too easy to destuff.

And they are DBB pet affiliate. That means, if you click on the store bone( second on the right) and place your order at Jeffers through the store, the board will be a tiny commission to help with the costs of running this wonderful place.
