This was the first roll. My wife said the film was not in the camera long, well first pics were of CHRISTMAS! Pic quality is not that good on the first roll, Second should be better.

PPS: Karen's Mom had Karen using velcro as a Mickey Muzzle. Just think of the color variety. Better keep this a secret from the DWD

Hi all! Sorry I haven't been around in a few days. I've been sick, and I'm just getting back into things today.

David, what GREAT pictures!!! <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm12.gif" border=0> I was able to take a few myself, but still have to finish the roll before I can get them developed. I hope to do that this weekend!

Lanie, I'll send you my address, but maybe you could send a set to either David or myself. He has a scanner, and I have access to a company scanner at work. I know, it's using company property for non-company work, but maybe if I do it on non-work time...it shouldn't be a problem.<IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm26.gif" border=0>

Georgette, yes...the velcro muzzle! The store-bought muzzle didn't last 5 minutes before my very determined dachsie had that sucker off! Needless to say, that is getting returned this week!

I'm glad that my mom thought to make that homemade jobbie. She did so when I first got Mickey. She made it originally for Oscar because he was not terribly fond of Mickey and she didn't want Oscar biting Mickey. But now Oscar LOVES the Mickers!

Velcro is some pretty strong stuff...he'd never have gotten that off. Of course, he rubbed his nose raw on the pavement trying to get it off, but it held fast...until he could be more civil!

I can't wait to see the rest of the pics that everyone else gets...this is so fun to re-live our wonderful time!

Miz Marci, this is Mickey. I've been trying to get Lucy off my mind all week long. But once I saw those pictures, I fell in love all over again. Hi Mickey (and Karen & everyone!!)

We are finally home. The absolute highlight of our 2 weeks in PA was Dachsie Day!! Mr. Mickey, you are so very kind to ask about courtin' Miss Lucy!! You read her mind! I can tell she feels the same about you http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/love.gif She has thought of very little else since your special day. She likes all her new friends but every time she starts to run through the yard (or house)I can see she's looking for you behind her!! She has asked me to see if we can arrange a date sooner than next year...maybe even Labor Day? We will be back up to visit at the Timber Trails house that weekend. (Only three weeks away, but who's counting!!)

Your mommy can email me if you'd like or just post here and we can see about the two of you running in that field together...

In the mean time I show her your picture now on line (Thanks David!!) and hopefully we will have ours back in a few days. Will be in touch about scanning them if they come out good.

Once again, you are the best for pulling it together and next year we have to stay thru dinner too! Lucy won't have it any other way!! ( and we know who the BOSS is, right?
