For anyone who might be skeptical of the Cuz toy, I picked up one up at Petsmart on Friday. Nubs hasn't put it down since. He absolutely loves it. The best part is, he hasn't even put a dent in it. For a toy to make it in our house 3+ days, it's a miracle. He's usually pulled them apart or torn them to shreds by then. Since it's made of harder rubber, it's really hard for him to squeak (i.e. - less headaches for mom & dad!) :circle:

I've been meaning to post on the Bad Cuz devil toy. We've had one for about 3 months. It is one of Buddy's favorite toys. We now have 3 of them here. He did break through the squeaker on the oldest one, but hasn't chewed it at all. He LOVES to play fetch with this toy. Because of the devil horns and the feet, it is quite unpredictable where this ball will bounce, it goes all over the place. We love them as well!!!

Peaches loves her Cuz too! We purposely bought one we thought would be to big for her to squeak. We gave it to her and she couldn't figure out how to get her mouth around it. As my husband and I were patting each other on the back thinking what a great toy, she figured out how to squeak it.

Is that not the loudest toy ever made??? I am glad Nubs loves his!

Nubs actually has a toy fish that squeaks 10 times louder (if you can believe that!) so, the Cuz seems quiet for us! :oogle:

Ilsa LOVES the toys that squeak and works and works until they do. Then preceeds to tear the toy apart. Amazing how a little 10 lb dachsie can do itin record time. Peaches sounds a lot like Ilsa so I can relate to her keeping at it until she amde it squeak. I am so looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

What is this? An indestructable doxie toy? We must have one. What do they look like?

They look like balls with feet and little devil horns. The one I got is maybe the size of a softball (maybe slightly smaller) and it's red. They also have white ones. I found them in the toy isle of Petsmart but, I believe you can get them at Petco also or online.

I posted about this toy awhile back- Rex is a master toy destroyer, and so far this one has faired the best. It isn't indestructable though- while the toy remained intact, he was still able to break the squeaker. First we tried the small Cuz, and the squeaker was gone within 5 minutes. Next we tried the larger one, and this time the squeaker lasted a day. He still plays with them though.

My husband has the great idea of cutting the squeaker out and making a small slice through the rubber material. We stick part of a biscuit in there, and Rex goes wild. It's harder for him to get out than with the Kong, so it keeps him busy longer. :fierce:

Here's a picture of the small CUZ. I bought this one for Chapo. Of course this is his most obnoxious toy!

I bought the one that is the size of a baseball and the kids don't do anything with them I might try the smaller ones. They arew only about 2.99 at the Hay and Feed Store.

Sounds like a good present for Dexter's BD next month.

OK. I tried the medium Cuz for Will'em. The horns were off in less than 5 minutes... no problem. The squeaker lasted less than an hour. Thank goodness! There is a God who looks over HooMoms. I was thinking it would be perfect for the Buda Wienerdog Races ... next year! Will have to find another one and place it in a secure (Will'em proof) location.

I guess I'm just not lucky- or have especially equipped toy destroyers. The devil cuzs lasted all of a few minutes before I had to toss them- Dutch took the horns off his, Geisha had the horns AND feet removed from hers.

Lynx just thought it was boring- being that it wasn't an enormous $3.97 red fleece Wal-mart crab.
