Need help with posting pictures

I've tried quite a few times to post some pictures of Link but keep getting the message that they are too "large". Our digital camera uses 6.3 pixels and apparently the site will only take pictures up to 6.0. What can I do to get a few pictures of Link on the site? I'm not computer illiterate, just a slow learner!
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate the help!

I use this http://www.photobucket.com/ to post my pics and I've never had to resize, it does it for me.

Did you camera come with software for managing pictures? You can usually find a resize option in those programs somewhere on the tool bar. Or just start the software and use the Help function to look for Resize.
