Tassle our rescued cocker spaniel had to be put down a few days ago, she was getting very frail and had a hard time walking she was stricken with several lumps and was peeing on the floor. She would just look so sad because she was losing control I consoled her when she did and told her it was alright but in the end she had to be put to rest. She was an adoption from a local shelter where she would have been put to sleep the following day. We gave her four more years of life and with that she gave us all the love she had. Now our little dashie is sad from her sister not being around and cries alot. It took all of our love to finally put her to sleep, she was the best dog anyone could ever ask for, we cried and cried and wished we would never have to do it. With all our love we think of you Tassle all the time.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It's never easy to say goodbye even when they in their own little ways lets us know they are ready. She's running and playing like a pup at the bridge now just waiting for that day when you will be reunited.

It is such a difficult decision to have to make; my mom and I had to do it with our cocker spaniel, Shelly, many years ago. Even though it is the right thing to do, it is incredibly painful. We are thinking of you, your family, and your dachsie at this difficult time. :(

Sorry for your loss and that you had to make that very tough decision. Never second guess yourself. You did what was right for your dog. I hope you and your dachsie find living without your buddy a litter easier as time goes on.

for your loss. Thank you for rescuing her from that shelter and giving her a wonderful life. She left this world loved which is a wonderful thing. She will be bright and healthy and happy when she comes to greet you all at the bridge one day.
