30 Texas Dachshunds

Sit down before you read this email! PLEASE CROSS POST! ALL REPUTABLE RESCUERS....
I got a call late this morning from our liason between San Antonio Animal Services (formerly Animal Control) for THIRTY DACHSIES that have been seized.

Obviously I CANNOT TAKE ALL of these dogs since I live in the city. I NEED HELP!

Rescuers - EVEN if you can only take ONE. Or if you know someone that has adopted from you or wants to foster even just ONE - that's one more saved.

Please get back to me and let me know if:

1)you can take any
2)you can find a foster home for any
3)you can place any

I don't have ANY details on them, but with 30 of them, there should be a little of everything.

We are willing to get these dogs out of state if there are any rescuers looking to help some doggies. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!

Alright i just crossed it to about 10 other boards where alot of ALL breed rescuers as well as dachshund rescuers hang out!! Good Luck with these babys http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/frown.gif

Thanks everyone. Cathy now has volunteers to handle 37 dogs (which is great because there were a few extras we were looking for fosters for). Turns out that most of the purebred dachshunds aren't from what she has seen so far. Thanks again, Rena
