What color is this doxie?

Take a look at the picture and see whether you can tell what color doxie this is. I saw it on a meetup group site and the owner said it was chocolate and tan. I don't think so, because the dog appears to have a black nose, and chocolates don't have black noses.

So, I was thinking maybe wild boar, or perhaps some sort of shade of red. What do you think?

Definitely NOT a chocolate- and I sure don't see any "tan" markings- or evidence of wildboar (at least from this limited view). :)

My guess- a lovely red with lots of black (not a clear red). Reds vary so much! Maybe some wildboar there- it's just too hard to see.

No way is he a Chocolate and anything not what that black nose.. unless the color in the pic is way off. I would say Wild Boar or even brindle.. hard to tell from the picture.

I'd be so tempted to call it a blue and tan (is there such a color?), but I think the nose would still not be right. Oh, well, cutie patootie, anyway!

Isabella/Tan? By the pic the nose doesn't look that black but really can't tell.

I go with the Red with a black overlay.
Definately not chocolate or any dilute (isabella or blue)
Looks like the picture had to be lightened to see the dog which always messes with the colors.
