Over in the Belgian Tervuren sector, someone (who probably has a lot of time on their hands) is setting up a volunteer list of people all over the country that will check out homes for rescue & breeders, & monitor animal shelters & photo websites for Tervs.
It sounds like an enormous undertaking, but a really good idea. Do any of the dachshund rescues have anything like this? Since there are so many more dachsies than Tervs, I can see a possible overload, but... If done state by state, it might be more feasible.
