I find myself on here a lot and was just wondering if its normal. How often do you check the DBB?

Oh my gosh. I chose "every chance I get." It is ridiculous how often I spend on this board!! I am truly addicted. :D I love it, though! I've learned so much and I love to hear about everyone's furbabies.

Every chance I get also. I am on here anytime, I can.
If for some reason, I cant get on during the night then I will get on in the mornings.
Actually mornings are the best for me to be on here.

My husband and son have stopped coming into the computer room and asking me what I am doing! They already know the answer! I feel like I know so many of you even though we have never met. If I ever win the lottery I am going to buy an RV and travel North America to meet all you wonderful people! No, make that a jet so that I can travel the world! I have learned so much about the breed and just their health in general. I pass on this knowledge every chance I get in hopes that one day healthy and loved dogs will outnumber the abused and unwanted.

i voted every chance i get...altho it is rare except on weekends if i make it more than once! but come weekends im checking quite a bit to see whats up! my daughter..attack secretary..and i are always asking each other if and when we have read posts last...and mention what we read!

once a day, although sometimes a couple of days will go by before I get a chance to check in. I love reading the posts and I more than love the pics!! I wish, I wish I knew how to get my pics on the computer! This last set I got the CD, but still don't know how to get it on my computer to then put it on the board! I have to wait for my son or son-in-law to help me :( :(

I am sometimes on here for a couple of hours a couple of times a day, and then for a few days, I can only get on for 10 minutes or so, 5 times a day...

Linsey - this is a great survey!!! I check the board as soon as I get home from work at 3:30, after supper at 5:30, again around 800 and again just before I go to bed around 1000.

I would be totally lost without my DBB family. I've have been given wonderful advice. I get to see everyone's pupperz. I see (a few) pics of people I have come to know very well thru the DBB.

I Log into DBB before I check my emails!!!!!

How about ALL DAY, some days. This board is truly addictive. Willy has learned to come up to the computer chair, & stand on his hind legs (I know he shouldn't), & I will pick him to sit w/me (then I have to type w/1 finger). The sad part is you can't look at many of these postings without :sob: "tearing up" at the situations.

Chris - What cell phone and company do you use where you can pull up the DBB to check it out? Mine won't let me look at DBB. Though I can bring up Dachsie.org... can't get into the BB and pull up threads. I've been thinking about looking for one that can. You can PM me if you don't want to endorse or advertise it here. ;)

You're not going to get an endorsement from me for this phone. It's the mpx220 from Cingular. This thing should have never hit the market, and it was withdrawn shortly after I bought it. I'm waiting for a new software version to come out to update this thing. I have paper in my battery compartment to keep it from turning off by itself, the back cover is loose. Motorola terminated the contract with the company that was manufacturing this phone for them.

I can use it to read this forum because it's a windows smartphone, it comes with internet explorer built in. That part works really well, it's the making and receiving phone calls part it's not so good at. Any windows, palm, or symbian phone should work fine for this. Also if your phone is able to handle java there is an html browser available. I tried the demo on a Motorola v400 and it looked fine. It's by a company called Reqwireless and it's called webviewer. I've only found this place within the past week, and now I'm here all the time (more then I post even). I'm amazed it took me so long to find this site with all the dachshund searches I've been doing for the past year (in addition to looking up general stuff on the breed, we're doing our guest bedroom all in dachshund so finding that stuff is fun with many google searches)

Oh my gosh.... I was almost embarassed to say how many times a day I check in here. I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone. I'm sure there isn't a friendlier place on the web. Doxie owners and lovers (I'm currently in between doxies) are THE best people. I always learn so much from everyone and LOVE seeing the pictures - it really is a great place to spend some time.

My computer is in the same room that I let my little men roam free - so in between tending to them, etc..I always check the board to see what's new that I can learn about dachsies.

When I was lucky enough to come upon this site about a month ago, I was thrilled!!! I love reading all of the posts and sharing with so many dachsie people. I'm totally addicted - checking in several times a day (and more in the winter, I know). I've enjoyed the polls and the Sunday night chats as well. I'm completely addicted!!! I love this site. Everyone repects each other's opinions and I love that there are so manmy doxie crazy people like me. My hubby calls himself the doxie blog widow. I was on EARLY this morning, about 4;30-5am and there were 4 people already on.(yes, I saw you cheddarsmom!!LOL) I have to be at work by 5:30 am. I have computers in the tool and die room but we have been blocked from using the internet because of all the porn the guys were downloading!! I am only 1 of 2 girls in this shop of 158 men!!(help) I don't get to come back on till after 5pm.
