Thanks Rob for another great dachsie get-together! Solo & Bacca had tons of fun, what an amazing venue! Looking forward to the next one at the Rescue Walkathon...
(P.S. Bacca missed being chased by Pogo & Casey, and Solo says that she hopes she gets to meet Tammy & Sophie soon! :D)

:sob: :crying: :sob: We WANTED to go so bad! Then Rafi got a call from work at the last minute and the weather was so touch and go - if it was a super sunny day he would have told work NO, but we just didn't know if the poison drops were going to fall! We went to the Petsmart training class and then he dropped Pixel and I off at home.

I'm happy that you went Marion....just PLEASE don't think we all abandoned you!!

Pogo really loves Bacca and I would have loved to see them play together again, and of course any opportunity to see you and Mark is awesome....plus I do love Solo and her captivating eyes  :muchlove:

Sorry we couldn't make it :(
The weather didn't look too promising, besides that Sophie wasn't feeling well.

We had Casey at his first obedince training that morning (without his mat) he was reluctant to sit on the cold floor! Sophie got kinda sick waiting for little brudder to finish his lessons. We had to leave early. Poor Sophie and her Tummy troubles.

Marion we didn't desert you on purpose honest! I didn't want to take Tammy because I took her to the vets' on Friday and poor baby has mange :yikes: (which explained my rashes and her scratching). I didn't want to take the chance of her passing on her microscopic little friends to anyone. Please check you PMs!

Janet, what's wrong with Sophie's tummy?

Janet, what's wrong with Sophie's tummy?

Well, As you all know......Casey and Sophie had diarrhea ( we called them the diarrhea twins). We took them to the vet to get injections and all was well.

We took Sophie with us to Casey's first Obedience training class and to meet Auntie Lisa,Uncle Rafi and cousin Pixel. Doug walked around Petsmart while Casey had his lessons. She didn't potty the night before or that morning. We knew she had to go! Well, Little darling made a big puddle in one of the aisles at Petsmart and then proceeded down another aisle to poop (Poor Doug) Doug took her outsdire and she had a bit of diarrhea. We abandoned the last 20 minutes of Casey's lessons and went home ASAP! We took them for a long walk in the wooded park and the little :devil1: was fine! She was fine enough to chase a jogger a half a kilometer until she gave up! (we~Casey, Doug and myself ~all were running after her!) We had to laugh at her, she was really outta puff. We stood firm and refused to carry her home.

We think she had an upset tummy cuz she didn't go potty the night before OR a big maybe is........We took her to Petsmart......that is where her old mommie dropped her off and left her there. (not this Petsmart but the one in Louisiana)

Ooh poor Sophie! I'm glad it was an accident and not still whatever bug they picked up.

Please give her big hugs from her auntie in Brantford and one from her girlfriend Tammy.

I'm glad Casey and Sophie are feeling better and hopefully Tammy will be better soon too. We got lucky with the weather. I agree Marion I think it was a good spot so we will definitely have another meetup there 4 sure. We missed our other Dachsie friends, but I understand about the weather. The forecast really was not promising. It started to spit about 3:30 and it rained solid from that point until about midnight. (Dachsie Powers came thru but could only hold off the rain for so long)

I saw Juliette and Chris on Sunday. Milo and I were at an agility competition and they happened by. What a pleasant surprise. We just missed our 2nd 'Q', but Milo was awesome.

We're sorry we couldn't make it either! We are in the process of doing massive spring cleaning on our house (In laws arriving on June 1st, it's amazing how much junk we've accumulated!).

It was fabulous to run into Rob at the park around corner from our house - we were strolling along to watch the agility and I saw this handsome black and tan dachsie sitting there and thought "wow, does he look like Milo. Oh, there's Rob - guess it IS Milo!".

We will definately be at the next meet up!

cheers
