I just turned 40 2 months ago, proud of every year I have. I have no hangups on age, must have gotten it from my mom. I figure age gives up wisdom and every wrinkle is yet another lesson, another story learned in life.

Hubby is 42, I have three kids ages 7 1/2, 6, 4 1/2, 2 cats, 2 puppers, 2 lizards and plenty of fish.

Seems there are alot of "Ashton/Demi" couples here...you go girls!!! I am 31 and hubby is 32 (only 9 months apart tho). 30 seemed like a milestone simply because I was so happy to be alive and my health really hit a high and it just seems to be getting better with age. Although, my nephew did ask me to purchase an add in his senior year book next year :faint: . I still think of him as a little turd following me around where ever I went :sob: now he's all grown up :crying: . That is the only depressing thing about aging...seeing all the babies grow up too.

I looked at her and she said it says you were born in 1960 and I said well that is correct. Well as of Charleston and Daves response the mean age for the board members is 41.5 (the age that falls in the exact middle between the highest and the lowest). The mode (the age that occurs the most often) is 26. And the modal age (the one with just as many peope above it as below it) is 36. And the average age is 38.6 years (you know add them all together and divide by the number of people responding)

It has been many years since I took statistics so if I have terms confused sorry but you all get the gist....

(And does the fact that I sat here and figured this out make me queen geek?)

EWWWWW. Juliette, you look great as you are now. Those models are icky, too scrawny and they walk so slow. We have Fashion Week in Bryant Park a few times a year and I hate it--models are so slow and look like they're gonna break in half if the wind blows too hard. Plus, why would men want a woman who looks like a 14 year old boy?

Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now!

Lori, no way do you look 40 or Mark 45. (I met her last year at the NE Ohio picnic, so I know!)

I thought I'd be the oldest, but am one year behind MaMaw at 62. I felt quite young until I got a brain lesion which combined with my fibromyalgia made me have to retire early three or four years ago on SS disability plus a miniscule pension. I am exceedingly tired, which is why I don't post much, and have balance problems. I am getting more grey hairs and recently (gasp!) my skin got crepey. My forced inactivity and medicine have caused me to gain a lot of weight, which bothers me more than the grey. Being forced to be home is good for my girls, who are sleeping on the couch next to me as I type.

Fat me with my darling Danny, who was MUCH handsomer than the picture shows:

29 here....and turning 29 again next year too :D Nah, actually I think I'll fess up to it when I turn 30. I've already caught myself saying things like "Mom, I'm 30 years old...I can make and 8 hour drive by myself!" Then I have to remind myself....no, no, no....you're not 30 YET! But half the time I feel like a teenager pretending to be a grownup.

Of course, hubby thinks it's hilarious that he's 6 months younger than me and still only 28.

I'm 53, divorced after 29 years of marriage, with 2 daughters, 4 little grandsons (both my daughters had a son born 6 hrs. apart on July 10, 1998, and were across the hall from each other in the hospital), 2 choc. labs age 11, and little Fletcher 3 months. I luv the liberation that comes with age; now I can ride around with the windows rolled down and let my hair blow in the wind, among other acts of liberation. It truly is just a number. My dogs are wonderful, faithful friends. If only people were as faithful. Yes, I could go on and on but must get to work.

who would be way too old in dog years... keep in mind that age is just a chronological number! It has nothing to do with your attitude or mind set!

I am 54 and Rick is 56 - but we both act as fit as most of the 30 to 35 year old teachers & hubbies we hang out with! (Since he was too shy in high school to talk to me or ask me out, sometimes we act like we are 19 and 17! :D )

I am 33, soon to be 34. My fiance just turned 31. Our wedding is August 13th and it's a first for me. I wanted to wait until I had matured appropriately to tie the knot (that's what I tell my mom). Course the truth is it was harder to find my best friend and soul mate than I originally planned!

I am just behind you, mamaw. I will be 63 in February of 2006. I don't think I look my age but due to health problems I sure feel it. My dogs keep me happy when I don't feel well.
