I'd love to sponser a DEEP south doxie gathering. This poll is to determine how many people (from the south) would come from the south, if it was held in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Please feel free to list months you'd be able to come.

Nothing like Louisiana in the summer time to know what sweat really is. We want to come visit Heide and Davd and would love a gathering to be involved.

Lake Charles....It's about 7 hours from me, which is a bit far, but depending on how much notice I get and what all happens at the event, I would consider it!

I would for sure! The month doesn't matter, except I'd prefer it not to be November/December. I think it sounds like a great idea! :)

As long as it wasn't the first Saturday of any given month, I'm probably there! I have to work every 1st Saturday ad can't get out of it!

Lake Charles is about 4 hours from me I believe. I've never been there but hubby has. It would be depending on our schedules.

I'm so jealous! I wish I was closer, but from Canada to the Southern states seems like such a drive I doubt I could go

I would be there! Lake Charles is only an hour away from me. A fall month would be better, like september, october, or november.

Would love to come to the deep south....my favorite part of the country...but it is a bit far from So. Calif.

I would love to go, but it is 14 hours away. I have never been to a gathering of this type and long for the company of other animal lovers.

If I moved in time I will be there. Its probably a 7-8 hr drive so I could do that in a day LOL

Hey Jami, this thread was from a few years ago, but it would be fun to have a southern get-together sometime! I'm in Arkansas and have family in Missouri. When are you moving?
