if my husband gives jackie trouble ( saying it nicely: bad girl if she has a accident on the floor and shows her the newspaper that is put on the floor for her if she has to go to the bathroom), she p's on his side of the bed. Jakie is his little girl. but if i tell her and then show her to the paper she does nothing.
is this common for a dog to do that or do we have a problem with her.
she is a very good puppy. she loves kids.
she is 6 months old
Could be submissive behavior. What do you mean "when your husband gives here trouble?" What does he do?

i should have stated the trouble better. he dosen't yell at her, but just tells her she did wrong and shows her the paper if she had an accident on the floor. then he puts her gentle on the paper and say's thats were you go to the bathroom. we have been having problems with her going to the bathroom outside during the winter. she is getting used to going out side now. She also went to the bathroom on my mom bed when she came to visit. all my mom did was take her off the bed show she could make it , then awhile later jakie p's on the bed.
so is there any way we can fix this?
if you have any suggestions please tell us.
we would like to get it fixed because she is really our special little girl.
thanks jackie's mommy

IF I read this right, she doesn't pee when he corrects her but goes later to pee on his side of the bed? This is NOT submissive behavior. This is 'pissy' behavior (sorry I couldn't resist.)
She has misbehaved and you need to let her know that she has to EARN the right to be back on the bed. She should be placed in her crate at night until have haven't had an accident for a while and she shouldn't have acccess to the bedroom....at all...unattended. She is still young and needs to have the rules reinforced :) actually, I wouldn't let her be anywhere alone that isn't papered or paper available IN that room. The sooner you get the misbehavior corrected the better because once they learn they can do something (punishments be darned after the fact) they assume it is alright. So, just do a little retraining and she will be Daddy's girl again (with no wet bed)
