My family and I would like to take this time and thank all of you who replied to Kritters passing. Your kind words and thoughts were very much appreciated. My husband and I read through the Dachsie Memorials so many times this week and found them to be a part of our healing process. The tears I cried while reading the Memorials were for all that lost a furkid and somehow that helped in our healing. It is nice to know that we were not the only ones that feel the way we are feeling. It is very comforting to have all of you here for us. We sat down and remembered Kritter as a youngster this week and not the Kritter that wanted to rest. The loss is still there and he will always be in our hearts and minds but we know we will get through this and thanks to all of you we are. We know that he is at Rainbow Bridge enjoying himself like he should. Once again THANK YOU!!
sincerely,
The Rueckwalds

I just read about Kritter's passing and what came to my mind was his great age and your unselfish way of letting him travel on.
None of our "furkids" whether dogs, cats, horses and many others, are "replaceable". Just like your family did, we go through memory lane and rememeber when these Kid's where children and how much joy they brought.
Kritter must have had a very satisfying life. Since you brought his passing here, I'll remember his name too.

I am so srry to hear of your loss...As you can see from the other post on this Topic, I also lost my best friend this year. I only had Casey for a short 4 years. How lucky you are to have had your baby for as long as you did,,however,,that would not make it any easier. I have really found this board to be such a comfort to me in my loss of Casey. I found it right after I lost him. I have since Gotten a new baby, Gracie. She has really helped to ease the pain and emptiness I felt. The longer I went without a Dachsie, the more miserable I became. It may be too soon for you to condider that, but it is something to think about. Please go and see Casey,,,and Gracie at www.geocities.com/daisy2933/caseyspage.html (http://www.geocities.com/daisy2933/caseyspage.html)
I am thinking of you!
