Thought we could see the humorous side of rescue. I think I am out of couch room for my new recruits! Go ahead and fill out those adoption applications. BTW Granny is there but at the bottom on a blanket. You need to scroll across to get the full picture.

Too hilarious! I especially the glowing "devil" eyes effect at the end of that couch!

WHAT A GREAT PHOTO!!!! With the exception of on-the-back-with-legs-a-floppin', I think it covers just about all of the classic dachsie positions! Thanks for posting this! It's my new wallpaper!!!!!

http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gifHow ADORABLE! What I immediately noticed is, they're all Red Smooths! They sure look "at home"! I love it!

Sadie:
Oh please put that in the Photo Album, it must be saved forever!
The little one at the left of the couch, as you are looking at the picture, captured my heart. What hubby doesn't know is there is a slot here I will eventually fill with what I would consider a special needs dachsie. Either a senior or disabled or one that no one seems to want. But I have to go slow. Started the propaganda machine working in very subtle ways here on the home front. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
That's the best use of a couch I have ever seen,

That IS a great photo. Kinda like the one of Jean's in the boards photo album where her whole 6-pack of weiners is on her couch.

Sooooooooooo cute! Thanks for posting that one for sure!

Wow! That's my idea of heaven - a half dozen (or more) dachsies! What an adorable picture - I only saw 2 at first and without reading any text, thought I'd scroll across - a plurality of dachshunds.LOL. Anyway 200% better than my trio! JB from CA, mom to Heidi, Gretl, and Siglen

That's a keeper and a prize winner for sure. Are these dogs available for adoption? -georgette

Abby and Dash- Left of couch- are available as a pair. Buddy who is perched on top of the couch found his new home yesterday with an elderly lady who stays home all day. BJ-in the middle- is available but we are working on some issues...theft problems, head in the trash can tendencies, tissue shredding, drivers license shredding, I could go on and on. He is a little stinker but he just has such a personality! Silly and Sadie are mine at the end of the couch and they are here to stay as well as Granny. I can't believe what a group of wonderful weenies I had the pleasure of bring back from Texas. They are treasures.

Shelley,

They are just too cute!! I couldn't find Granny though. (I think it's so great that she's found a home with you). I think it's funny that they are all red smoothies.

Shelley!

What a gorgeous "pattern" you have for your couch. Where did you get that neat dachsie material again? http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/lol.gif
