An honorary dachsie - my girls' "aunt" Mandy

My parents' 18 1/2 year old silver apricot poodle went to the Bridge 11/7/01. My father had a stroke about 2 weeks ago, and this past Monday as he got out of his chair, he fell on her. My sister dragged her out from under him and was bitten. They got the dog to the vet, Dad to the hospital, and my sis's hand bandaged. Yesterday, the vet told Mom and Sis that Mandy had a bad spinal cord injury, so she was sent off to the Bridge with both Mom and Joyce there.
