across the Rainbow Bridge. I still miss her footsteps and her snuggling. One of my favorite photos of her, shows her facing the camera with a green nylabone hanging out of her mouth - much like Groucho Marx and his cigar. She was a red mini smooth - and somehow I think she knew the green nylabone looked especially good against her coat! Julia B.

Hi Julia,
Today is a good day to bring all those pleasant memories up and to forget the sad times. As the years go on those anniversary dates get easier to handle. If you say a special prayer to Heidi tonight tell her to keep an eye open for a chcolate LH male who headed her way this morning. The last name he was known by was Brandy. He had a couple of days in a foster home after being deemed unadoptable at the local shelter. He was about 12 yrs old and seemed under a lot of stress while at the shelter. He had a major seizure last night was helped to the bridge this morning while cuddled in a rescuers arms. No one from rescue know the story of how he ended up at the shelter. The optimist in me wants to believe his person either had to go into assisted living or died and that he wasn't given up just because he was old and ailing. I was very glad I got to meet him and even took his pictures Sunday as he was picked up by his foster mom. The pictures were to be used to help find him a new forever home. Rest in peace little Brandy a little girl Heidi will be looking for you to help introduce you to all the other dachsie friends at the bridge.

Hi, Tom. I'm so glad that lh boy had a person with him as he crossed to the Bridge. I will ask Heidi-Angel to help him as he tours all the wonders. She also had seizures, so she'll be a good guide for him...
