We had to put Chinook to sleep in mid-October. He had a thyroid tumor that was interfering with his breathing and his eating. He was 14 years old. He was so beautiful and Otis's "big buddy." I want to put some pics up in memory. Tried a while back but had trouble. We buried our beautiful Chinook out back under the tree where he liked to lie. We have a big empty spot on the carpet every night, where he liked to sleep. He was so sweet. We all miss him so. He was our "gentle giant."

Otis's (and Chinook's) mommy,

Anita, I'm so sorry to hear about Chinook. He was a beautiful BIG boy. How's Otis taking it? {{{{{HUG}}}}}

Thank you Mark! What a surprise!

Otis missed his big Buddy a lot at first. He seems to be okay now. It is so strange having just ONE dog!

Otis's mommy,

Anita

Dear Anita,
I am so sorry for your loss. What a handsome boy Chinook was! I know about "empty spots" I only lasted 2 months before I filled mine!
(On a side note - have you ever read the malamute mysteries written by Susan Conant? If you like to read, or like mysteries, I think you'd enjoy these books.) Julia B. in CA
