Well, it has been going on a week now, and we have still had no calls, signs or anything concerning baby Daisy. My husband said that he really wasnt mad at me, just dosent understand why she would run off from the only home she has known for 5 years. He is hurting too, but he has a gruff way of being tuff, and dosent deal with it the way that I do.I am dealing with her dissapearence better than before, only crying periodically now at the oddest times, like in the evening when she should be laying at my feet at bedtime, or in the morning, when she sits in the bathroom as I take my shower. Its the small loving things about her that I miss the most, like her soft little face, and her way of loving to pop tennis balls. I have done everything so far that I can, to find her, and I cannot afford a Clairvoyant , due to Connies previous injury.
I feel in my heart that someone has her, due to her just dissapearing so fast . I truly miss my little junk yard dog, and I am hurting so much. I am hopefull that one day, we will find her again, and she will come home soon.

I know how you feel, having looked for lost dogs growing up. I also understand that you need some kind of closure right now, but please, keep a small part of hope somewhere in your hear. One time it took us six weeks to find one of our Salukis. Six weeks! But there was the phone call, and there she was.
Big hugs to you, I feel for you. :hugs1:
Was she chipped?

Or have hope that she will be home soon. She really was a bright dog, and she KNEW where her home was. For example, one Fourth of July, I left her with my friend, who lives three streets over, and on an corner house. She got loose from there, and came all of the way home. So I have faith that she will be home. I just hope that it is sooner than later. In the mean time, it really is killing us inside.

I know how you feel. As a child our Honeycup (cocker) and Suzie-Q (blue Chow) dissappeared one day. Every day after school I would rush home...but nope they hadn't been found.
Then 3 weeks or so later after I quit rushing home from school there was Honeycup tired but oh so happy to see her kids. The next day Suzie-Q appeared. We believe that since they both were just tired and dirty but not hungery that someone had them in their backyard. Since Honeycup was smaller of the two she dig a hole and got out and then Suzie-Q had to enlarge the hole before she could get out to come home.
:hugs1: Don't give up just yet.

I will keep hoping she shows back up.
I had a Red Bone coon hound show up at my place one Saturday... skinny, full of ticks, no collar or tags. I called the SPCA and they came and got her. The SPCA had a 'virtual neighborhood' where you could post lost dog info. I decided to look back through the posts... and low and behold... almost a month previous some one had posted about a dog fitting that same description.
I called and the dog was reunited with her people.. after a whole month... so don't give up hope.
I don't know if the SPCA still has the virtual neighborhood... but you might check and see at www.spca.org.

Keep up the faith and keep putting posters up, fliers at all vets, pet stores, feed stores, shelters... advertize a reward. Sending more rays! :rayz: :rayz: :rayz: :rayz: :rayz: :rayz:
Sending more :rayz:  :rayz:  to keep your spirits up.
Think positive and keep bugging the shelters etc every day, possibly you will become friends with one of the people on the phone and they will keep their eyes open especially for Daisy. One of my cats went missing and she returned after 6 months so anything is possible. If someone does have her I'm sure if she has a chance at an open gate she will return to her loving home. Agree if possible offer a reward but I've read that it is not good to give a specific amount... not sure about the last part.

Sending :rayz:that she will still some how find her way home. I suspected your husbands outburst was more frustration than really being angry with you glad to hear that was the case.

my deaf double dapple was missing for 3 weeks last summer, i never gave up hope, i just knew that i would find him. i put up posters in the walmart where i lived and people called me and said that he was here and there he was spotted so i knew he was alive. a teacher called and said he was locked in the school i met her it was 10:00 at night we searched the school yard with flashlights and found where he dug out under the fence. the next day i gave his picture to all the mailmen where he was sighted, and 1 week later i received the call that the lady mailman was following him in her truck. took me 10 more min but i got him back. so never never give up hope. if you are connected she will know and you will get her back.
