Forwarding this as I try to outrun a terrible storm headed our way. (Luau cancelled til tomorrow)

Terrible situation needing immediate attention of recognised rescue groups like DRNA in the North/South Carolina or Georgia area.
Candise, Georgia State Director of Critter Haven will NOT permit the dogs to go to private homes but only to rescue organizations. If you get in touch with her or with April you will understand the
whole story.
Here is just a bit of what I copied from her post:

"I will get as much info on this as possible by Friday/Saturday, but please keep in mind the foster home that had these babies has been hospitalized for well over a week and some of these were dumped off even after she was in the hospital, so there has been no chance to vet them and she hasn't even seen them!
several Doxies approx. 6?? still need rescue 1 male, 7 yrs. old, unaltered, needs shots, long hair, b/t, mini 1 female, red, smooth coat mini, altered, UTD 1 female, dapple, smooth coat 4-5 yrs?? altered, UTD, mini
all doxies are mini's, I believe!"

Thanks Shelly. So far behind on news but the last I heard an all breed rescue group, in Georgia, was going to take them just for the time being.

Seriously, thanks to both Shelly and Andrea. I just knew that people on this board would find ways to help.
Thanks goodness there are so many "angels" out there. The world is a better place because of that.
