Not like the NE Ohio Picnic. For those of you who missed the giant dachshund picnic fix, Midwest Dachsie Fest is Sept 10th at Kickapoo State Park near Danville, IL. There will several dbbr's there, including myself and crew, Dana (doxiediva) and crew, Mary (isobelsmom) and crew, Yolanda and crew, Tanya, John and Peaches. Who else is attending.

We hope to attend this event especially since it's in our own backyard! I also posted a reminder about the Worthington Ohio Pooch Parade. The Sheltie Rescue will be there so i will also.

I am thinking about attending Strut your Mutt....not sure if I will bring Carmen though. She is pretty anti-social, but we are trying to work on that. Might be a good opportunity for her.....then again she might just be an embarrassment since she knows she is a queen and will act like it too!

I've never seen that before. lol Bring her it will be good for her. You will find me at the ccdr booth. Just come and ask for Lori. I love meeting dbb folks and their pups.

I agree with Lori. Come and enjoy the fun! Ilsa is such a little princess and thinks everyone wants to play with her! I am trying to socialize her more with other dogs since she does fine with people.

I would like to meet you Carmen's Mom. I live in Westerville. If you are nearby youa re welcome to come to a dachsie meetup we have. Some of us in the area meet and have fun with the dachsies. I am trying to get a date going for the next one but i's been hectic this summer. Email me or Pm and we can get together sometime!
