Hey fellow dog lovers,
So Sorry if you get this more than once and please cross post.

Just got off the phone with Gayla, HSUS, that's dealing with this case.......both "men" pleaded not guilty (with hopes of a plea bargin). She will keep me updated with future court dates, this could be long and
drawn out. I also received a package today from Gayla, with pictures...........one
of Honey, who is doing very well. And pictures of Huggy and Amanda. I need
to tell you that it was worse than I imagined, I'm so sick to my soul see
these pictures.........I can just tell you that I have not done enough to make these killers pay for what they did to these poor little doxies. I'm making a commitment to be at court on the days that they will be sentenced, I have to do it, to ease my soul somewhat, altho, after seeing the pictures of
their poor little bodies, I don't think I will ever rest again. Our emails have made the front page of the local newspapers and the papers of most of the state. Altho we have about 250 emails, I expected more. We have some more time to make a difference, I will keep you updated on our progress. And PLEASE pray for the lost souls of Huggy and Amanda, poor precious babies.......People hug your doxies.......Teresa Shively,

Thanks once again, Tom. Those gals are doing one heck of a job. Got that post privately this morning. They are keeping all lines of communication open and I would URGE anyone who has not emailed regarding this situation to do it ASAP.

Yes thanks Tom, I'll talk personally with people I think might be counted on to send more letters. I think a short, tentative letter for them to paste, sign, and email might help. (I mean I'll write one.)

What a heartbreaking post. I can feel her pain and anger and I thank her for standing up to those two evil men! Would you be so kind as to repost her addy for email--and I'll pass it on again. Those rotten excuses for human beings should be beaten with hammers and left to die--maybe then they will begin to understand the fear and pain they caused to those little Dachsie angels!

I'm glad to hear that Honey is recovering; but will pray for the souls of Huggy and Amanda. I will also give Isobel a hug for all three!
