Hi Folks!

CCDR has 16 Dachsies that were taken from a puppymill bust in Selma Alabama.

The woman who was running the mill works for the sheriffs department! She had other breeds as well, but we got all the Dachsies.

These pups are being vetted now. There are two that have mange so bad that they have no hair and are running fevers. They were being mated in this condition! The rest are being looked at and evaluated.

We are setting up foster homes now and hope to be able to move them at the end of the weekend depending on their condition.

If any one would like to make a donation towards they're vetting cost, the address is

CCDR
Andrea DeGagne
45 Victoria Farm Rd
Fremont NH 03044

Checks made out to CCDR, any help would be appreciated, I have no idea what these pups are going to need. The vet has agreed to bill us for now, thank God!

We have someone gathering photos and will have them on line, and also are trying for a website so you can see these poor babies.

We'll have info on our website about them as well. That is www.c2cdr.org (http://www.c2cdr.org)

Thanks for listening and say some prayers for these guys, they're gonna need it!

Andrea, I'm so glad you guys rescued these babies. No hair!! I'm ashamed to be part of the human race when I hear about things like this. Until I joined rescue I had no idea what puppy mills were! I'll say a prayer for all those sweeties and hope you are able to find them forever homes once they are well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...thanks to Andrea and all like her who give so much time and energy to save dachsies. I hope I grow up to be just like her!

Andrea, it's not a big check, but it's on the way!

Tanya, thank you! I just found out, within the group there are 3, 8 week old puppies. My God! Can we never stop this?

I have been doing this for awhile, and I still cannot get over how the human race treats dogs. My kids sleep with me, I race home from work to be with them. I try to get into my head , that there are other folks like me, who love they're dogs, not as dogs, but as companions, as friends and confidants. maybe I am naieve(SP) but I know, how much they mean to me.m I hope these PM pups mean something to someone out there!

Andrea,

I wish we could offer help out this way but we are helping out the Texas folks who are swarming in Dachsies. I really don't think it does stop. She works at the sheriff's office....unbelievable!

Shelley, thanks, I know, you are always trying to help! My concern is that we can vet all of them.

Two are in very poor shape, we have very young puppies coming in and unvetted mothers as well. It makes me sick. I am not giving up on any of them. Not a chance in hell!

If I have offended anyone with my language I greatly apologize.

I will not let any of these pups go without a fight.

My Maggie is from the PM in MO last Nov. She is still a basket case, I will not lose any Maggie's!

Thanks Shelley

Andrea,

I can and will send a donation (it will be on the small side as I'm on med leave from work) but will do what I can. If you need any Dachsies run anywhere I will do so at in the blink of an eye. I am also available to do home checks when needed.

I'm sorry to say that it never stops and never will until people use the heart and soul God gave them.

Bless you for all you do! And the Dachsies know you care and love them! email me off-list if you need to talk. It's a heartbreaker to be so deep in hurt and scared dogs . . . . let me know what I can do to help!

I'd like to post CCDR's need for donations to help defray the expense of vetting the dachsies, to an all breed list. Would that be okay?

Roxanne,

Please do, the more the better. I guess we are going to try to move them Sunday. I will foster 1 or 2 depending on what they are like.

I'm waiting to hear about the vetting, and what condition they are in. My friend just emailed me, the bust made the news in Boston last night, I wish I had seen it.

If we have any holes in the transfer, is anyone willing to help transport. Please guys, no pressure, just throwing this out there.

Oh, Benny is going to put this on his site too, as soon as I get some photos. He's a sweet man.

Mary, thank you! Please don't send anything you can't.

I'll keep you posted, and thanks for the support.

I'll keep you folks informed.

Sonja and Mary,

Thanks! Mary, I will put that out to the list. We are working on transport now. The problem is, most of them have mange, the two that are really bad are staying put, and the rest have it to some degree. It is very contagious, and we can't risk our own pups getting it. One has crippled front legs. Most are scared and have fleas and mange. Sick isn't it. If I ever got hold of this woman, all my Catholic upbringing, would be out the window, and my Italian temper would be fully let loose!

They will start their transport tomorrow, some making their way north. I am trying to vet some up here, because my vet gives rescue a great discount, and with 16, we're going to need it.

I'll keep you posted.

If I can just transport any it should be fine as long as I do not let them out of their crates or into my home at this point. Again, I will do what's needed. e-mail me off list and I can give you my phone number for easier contact.

Mary, transport is postponed until next weekend. I am just getting details. And yes, you can add your temper in as well!

My home email is woof@ttlc.net. Throw me an email, and if we need help with transport, you will be the first to know.

The problem now is, we are going to try to get a bunch up to me for vetting. We are concerned about the mange, I can't have my kids exposed.

Alot of them are 5-6 months old, imagine! They have all been given names now, poor things.

I'll keep you posted.

Andrea,

What type of mange is it? What does it do and look like. Is it the one where the pups are infected by their dame at birth. I know that mange is a small mite- but why is it soooo hard to treat and why is it contagious in some forms but not in others????

Maybe P'sA can come on and give some advice if she's around.
Poor, poor babies to have to suffer so much in the small amount of time they've been on this earth.

There a 2 common forms of mange that i know of

1.) Demodectic (not contagious to ppl or other dogs) this is known primarily as puppy mange because it tends to effect young dogs its characterized by hairloss on the muzzle , around the eyes, and perhaps the paws. This is the one thats usually inherited from the dam when they puppys very young and stressful situations tend to bring it on also. Its usually treated with Mitoban (sp) or Goodwinol ointment (sp)

2.) Sarcoptic highly contagious causes severe itching ... usually the dog will develop a secondary infection as a result of lesions caused by scratching. Alot of times dogs with this mange carry a nasty odor. Im not sure what the treatment is i just know that alot of times it takes along time to get the dog completely over it.

There are also other mite infections that are sometimes mistaken for mange. Hope this helps but i dont know any indepth details. Good luck with all those babies hope they get better soon.

Andrea, if there is a way to transport these poor dogs so that the mange can be contained (i.e., so my dogs won't be infected if they ride in the same car later), I will be glad to help transport next weekend. I have Sunday free. Let me know if you need someone up my way (Chicago).

Pam, Mary, Sonja and all,

Weare doing a road trip next weekend.

I am afraid they are all contagious. I am not very knowledged in mange and am waiting for the vet report to come in.

Jen, you obviously, know more than I, I will keep you posted. It's hard due to the long weekend, because, my vet is off.

Anyway, a bunch are headed this way for next weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.

Well, 5 are coming my way for vetting, and then they will be split up intop foster homes. I talked too the woman at teh shelter who is caring for them now. What a nice woman. As I was talking to her, she was giggling, and she said, "I'm sorry, Queenie is just sitting here and smiling at me" She said they are so attention starved, but were the easiest breed to remove, afraid, but want attention. Queenie is one of the ones coming to my vet. I hope I see her smile.

I will have my digital camara and promise pictures of the 5 headed up my way.

Hi Folks!

Through the transport work of many wonderful people. I got 5 PM girls last night at about 9:30.

Thay all have mange and it was too late to get them to my vets.I set up the basement with comforters and crates, and an inflatable mattress for me. I didn't want them to be alone, so I slept down there with them. Of course about 2 am, the mattress started deflating!

Anyway, two smooth reds, 3 smooth piebalds. All scared and sweet. Queenie is very underweight has really rotten teeth, but is a love, she wants attention like crazy. Her teeth are literally so bad, she came up to kiss me while I was lying down and I almost got sick!

My husband was really upset when he saw them. These scared little faces. My friend and I sat down there trying to pet them and we talked very softly to them, poor babies.

Two of the woman that helped in the transport called me from the road. She said they stopped and put them in an expen for a break. She said the pups were rolling around in the grass, smelling and it just loving it. First time they have ever been on it. She said she wanted to cry!

They are at my vets now, and I am going to stop on the way home and take some pictures of them. Wait till you see these little faces!

Thanks for all the support. These little girls are going to have wonderful lives now, as soon as fix them up.

Thanks guys!

I wanted to update you. They are still at my vets. Queenie is the one with the really bad teeth. Come to find out last night, she is so full of infection that the vet cannot even spay her until the antibiotics kick in, at least a week. Two others, not as bad as her, but also have to wait, all are on antibiotics.

They all have conjunctivitis and kennel cough. They also are eating soft food. Queenie is so skinny, but now we know why, poor thing couldn't eat! The odor coming from her mouth is horrid! I really am worried about her. Funny thing, she's in pain, but that little tail keeps wagging!

So, here we go again, the ones that have to wait will come back to my house tonight. We can't afford the boarding fee. Problem is I still have to keep them away from my kids.

Anyone have a spare air mattress? LOL

David, all the pups are in foster care, just different parts of the country.

There were so many wonderful people involved in this rescue. I am just proud to be a part of it. I have the easy part, I get to hold them and baby them. People drove for many hours to get them up my way, and gave up their whole weekend.

I will do pictures tonight. Digital camara is loaded and ready. They are SO cute!

The whole time I was reading the updates on Queenie and the rest I was holding Wotan under my arm. He was licking my hand(prob. to get the recently eaten yogurt off all the way) and I was sniffing his ears. It's sooo sad that the babies have never been on the grass before now.
I just looked a Wotan for a while wondering how people can be rotten enough to deny dachshunds a Life. They are such characters and smart in their own ways...

The trust they put in all the rescuers and You, Andrea is wonderment to me! They still proudly wave their tails and give kisses~ even with infected teeth and the pain that it must cause!

I would have slept with them too. Hope you've got a replacement mattress by now.I'll bet your own babies must feel sorry for themselves b/c Mom is pre~occupied; but they still have you when these orphans move on.

Hang in there and we send you dachsie Well Rayzzzzz from the Pacific Northwest!

I took pictures last night and left the disk on the kitchen table GRRRR

I promise tomorrow. I have two home now because the antibiotics need to kick in prior to them being spayed. I pick up two others tonight and bring them home and the last little girl tomorrow.

I have to tell you. I made them some chicken and rice, my kids had theirs first, and then I climbed in the ex pen with Queenie and Dolly. I wish you could have seen them eating the chicken. They couldn't eat it fast enough! They were licking my hands ,tails going like crazy, and it was all gone in about 2 seconds!

I am so amazed at how sweet they are. Queenie is in rough shape, but that tail keeps going. They were both giving me kisses and climbing on me. I'll tell you, hoomans could learn something from these babies!

It's great to hear that those little tails are going. When I got my little Aggie from Hearts United it was almost five months since her liberation from a mill but she had been in long term foster care since she had been breed right before rescue . That little girl was too afraid of the world to let her tail be seen. She kept it firmly tucked between her legs for a long time. One of my great pleasures before I lost her after 23 months together was that she had reached a point where her tail was out the majority of the time at home with occasional wags and out more often than not on our walks.

Thank you for caring and giving,

Hi Folks!

Sorry I haven't written in a few days. Been a little crazy around here.

I still have two of the girls with me, the other 3 went to wonderful foster homes. The two that I have werer in the poorest condition out of the bunch.

Dolly is doing ok right now, Queenie not as well. The decay of her teeth is up into her jaw line, and she may lose part of it. On top of that, she continues to cough after 9 days on antibiotics.

I have taken pictures and if you go to http://www.drwp.net/index.html , you can see them.

This is the Dachsund Rescue page, and the top photo is of Queenie's teeth.

I will get more photo's up ASAP.

How could teeth get like that? Soft food?

TessieMom
09-19-2000, 05:45 PM
My oldest dog's teeth have been a constant battle. They have to be brushed at least 3-4 times per week, preferably every day. Eating dry food doesn't help, and chewing bones doesn't help. She just builds up tartar. My brother's vet said that his dog was a gulper (they feed only dry food and Duke has the worst teeth I have ever seen, what there is left).

I just rescued a brother and sister from the local shelter and the girl has very bad tartar... looks like decay is up into the jaw on her too. She just cannot handle dry food and almost starved to death in the 3 weeks at the shelter where they only feed dry food. She seems to be able to handle some canned foods better than other and at this point she gets anything she will eat to put on weight! I have been brushing every day and it is some better, but she and her brother have more health problems (heartworms), so we are focusing on getting food down to get her energy up. Keep your fingers crossed. I think they orginally came out of a puppy mill because of the way her brother's ears are notched. Rena

Our guess is that they were fed, well, crap at the mill. Queenie's teeth are so very bad! If you look at the photo's you can see. The other side is actually worse! I forgot to mention that it is on the special needs page on Benny's site.

Thanks, you are all good friends!

I just talked to the vet. They have her on IV's right now with stronger antibiotics. She has to stay there at least for a few days until she is out of danger.

This is just killing me. I hate her being alone. I didn't sleep last night, and I can't concentrate on my work today.

If she makes it through this, we then have to deal with her mouth. She has decay right up into the jawline.

Anyway, thanks for listening and being there.

I stopped at the vets on the way home. I wanted to see Queenie, but they had her ona relaxant so she wouldn't disturb the IV's.

They said she would get too excited if she saw me. I cannot get her out of my mind. Today was horrible.

On the other hand, Dolly, is just too cute. When I came home from work she was so excited to see me. I am looking at her thinking, this is the first time she has ever been indoors, they were kept outside at the mill. I have old comforters and a baby blanket in and around her crate.

She does this little dance thing when she gets excited to see me. I just want Queenie to be able to that too.

Anyway, no new news tonight. Her labwork hasn't come back yet. I just wish I could see her. She will be with me for a while, if God willing she pulls through, and I think she will. She is a little fighter.

Thanks for listening, and hug the puppers tonight, they are very lucky to have all of you.

I am up too late, and Queenie is not doing well. Her breathing is very labored, and some of her blood counts are elevated.

Also, I had to take Precious back to my vet tonight, because, she still has a cough. They are doing a chest xray, and seeing what is going on.

Queenie, I saw her for a brief moment tonight. I had to leave because she got excited when she saw me. They didn't want her to upset her IV.

I cannot even explain how upset I am. I mean, with everything this little girl has gone through, this is just so sad! She is the hero, not us, she is the one who continues to fight.

Please, my friends, say a prayer for her, she is giving it her all, I will see how she is in the am, but she needs a miracle.

I told her tonight how many people loved her and are pulling for her.

Please, say a prayer, lets not let her down.

I'm sorry, I am just beside myself, and I really just want to comfort her.

I told her that there were alot of human angels that were thinking of her.

I'm sorry, I am not thinking clearly right now, I am so upset. Please, think of her and send a prayer, she needs it.

I have been away from the board for a few days adn I just spent this morning reading these posts. I am in tears over this.

My prayers and love to Queenie. She deserves a chance to live a normal life that every dog deserves. To be loved, hugged, walked, fed and played with. She deserves the chance to be some lucky owners life time companion. To love and be loved unconditionally.

Andrea, you are an amazing human being. I am sending a donation towards this cause. It will not be very much, but I know every little bit helps.

Hi Folks,

It's been a crazy weekend. I picked Queenie up Satuurday afternoon, she was so happy to see me. Tail going like crazy. I brought her home, set her up in the kitchen.

The vet said no activity at all for her. She went to go out to go potty and started choking horribly. I almost had a heart attack. Her breathing is very labored and she has not improved at all. My husband thinks she seems worse.

Yesterday, same thing, she is very affectionate, she is just so sick. It is so sad. She is in the expen, and all the other dogs are running around, and she watches them, and I know she wants to be with them, but any excess movement sets her off.

I brought her back to the vet this morning, they are going to take another chest xray. She needs something stronger or something, this is awful.

While I was at the vets, the foster mom who picked up Lizzie last week from me called, Lizzie is running a temp and shaking. I have no idea what is going on with her. She is seeing my vet today too.

These poor dogs. Please keep those prayers coming, Queenie has a long road ahead of her.

I just hope the vet has some good news today.
I don't know how much we can put her through.

On a happy note, I have homes for Precious and Dolly.

Andrea,

why is queenie coughing? fluid in the lungs? infection?

David

Dukey's Mom
09-25-2000, 01:27 PM
David,

Queenie has pneumonia and her lungs are so filled with fluid, she has probably had it for a while. It could have started with kennel cough, that went untreated.

I just spoke to the vet. She just had her second chest xray, the vet says it looks a little better than the last. So, finally some good news.

She wants me to bring Queenie in the bathroom, when we take showers. The steam will help break it up. She is also going to show me how to tap on her sides to help loosen the junk in her lungs up.

This poor girl, we still have to have her mouth taken care of, and the vet says part of her bone is infected on the left side of her mouth.

One thing at a time, I am leaving to go pick her up. I will tell her she has a whole fan club pulling for her!

Andrea,

do you have a vaporizor? I was going to suggest it but, did not know if it was pnumonia<sp>. I have had it so many times I stopped counting.

if she is strong enough for you to do pattern patting on, great. I would be worried about the shower. she may catch a chill.

if you do not have a vaporizor I would go as far as a pot of steaming water with vicks in it. the hard part of it would to be in an inclosed area. a beach towel might work as a small tent to keep the steam in. my wife would pattern my back then, this always worked on me, should work for a pupper. just get ready for all sorta coughing and gags, a lot of stuff will come up when it starts to break up. have a roll of paper towels ready! once it starts to move, she should feel so much better.

what meds is she taking. I wounder if is the same that hoomans get put on.

I know I am not a vet but, you just want to reach out and hold this one and give anything. How are the expences for her doing?

Hi Folks

Queenie is on, 68 milligrams of Batril twice a day, and also 200 millegrams of amoxicillian twice a day.

Any and all suggestions, would be apreciated.

I don't have a hunidifier, and I am going to try the shower method. I did "tap" her chest tonight, and she thought it was a pet fest.

She is sleeping right now.

The hardest part, is that she is in the expen, with a crate, and she wants to play with the other kids.

She is such a fighter!

I am so blessed for having met her. She has taught me alot. When I ever get down, I will think of her. Through all of this she has not complained, not whined, not even been aggressive, quite the opposite. I am blessed with having her.

We could learn alot from these kids. I am so awed by her. With everything she has been through, she is nothing but loving. It only makes me more upset with the woman that kept them.

How can she even live with herself...ok, I digress, sorry. I just cannot fathom, what her life has been like, and still how loving she is .

She is a special girl, and she is going to get a great life, I have promised her that.

Thanks for all your support!!

Andrea,

Bless your oh so generous heart! And this dear Queenie who is fightin' cuz she KNOWS she's gonna have a good life the remainder of her days.

Now, this may be toooo weird, but how about YOU getting IN the x-pen with Queenie and a teakettle of boiling water and another pan to pour the water into. Before you transfer the boiling water, cover up the ex-pen with you and Queenie in it as airtight as possible and then keep pouring boiling water fron tea kettle into pot letting it really steam up the blanketed area. I'd be careful about the Vicks. I might hurt her eyes. Anyway, a thought. Please keep us updated on this special pupper.

I hope people aren't getting tired of my repeating this message but having had the privilege of being the companion to a little puppy mill rescue dog for almost two years before loosing her I would like to repeat that I feel the extra time and effort these guys can requires makes that animal to person bond just that much tighter. They have their challenges like the will ever get them to keep a clean home when I'm gone or how long before they will come to me rather than try to hide but once you start to make break through they have stolen your heart. Are they for everyone? Most likely not if you can't be tolerant of some behavior problems, aren't willing to take the time to work with them and can't stand the idea of having to clean up their messes (possibly even the animal itself) several times a day then no don't get a mill rescue. I know at a show this spring I had a representative of a major regional dachshund group thank me when she found out I have taken in rescue dogs. She claimed that from what she has seen a mill rescue can often require more work and effort than a top show dog.

If you are prepared for the extra work then the rewards can be great. I wouldn't recommend a mill rescue for a first time dog owner but for an experienced owner who is willing and able to spend the time and effort please consider the possibilities. There may be health problems that are the result of both neglect and poor breeding practices. In my own case Aggie who had been kept as a breeder had a domed head (extra fluid around the brain), a trick knee that the vet could pop in and out of place with just a flick of his thumb. With dachshunds it's hard to tell if the multiple calcified vertebra at just under fours years of age was a result of poor genes or not but the odds are a poor gene pool was a contributing factor.

I hope I haven't; scared anyone away from the idea of a mill rescue they have the potential of both stealing and breaking your heart. Now that I've got two healthy young boys at home if I had the time, money and space for a third I would consider another mill rescue.

Thanks again to all those who have helped to rescue or provided homes for these deserving babies. I call then all babies regardless of their ages since in many cases they have never known the touch of caring hands or a warm lap.

Thank you for listening,

Tom (remerging Aggie who went to the bridge six months ago next Tuesday)

Tom,

Some very valid points. Puppymill pups are a challenge. They literally have to learn to be a dog.

My Dottie was playing with her squeek toy, desqueeking it, and Dolly just kept looking at her. Dottie got bored and went outside, Dolly went to investigate. She sniffed at it, and pawed it, and walked away. made me feel so sad. She'll learn though.

Dolly is at the vets today getting spayed and some teeth removed. I told her last night, " you never have to have babies again" I'm sure she has no clue what I am saying, but it made me feel good.

Folks, I finally have some good news about Queenie! She had clear eyes, no running this morning for the first time in more than two weeks! She also had a much more peaceful night. YEAH I am so excited! Her breathing is still labored, but there is improvement!

Sandi, You don't have a bad thought here, but I am concerned that if my husband finds me and Queenie in the expen covered up with steam coming out, he may have me committed!
Remember, I am the woman who slept in the cellar with these pups on a defating air mattress!

I think anyone not in love with dogs and especially our little low to the ground hounds, stumbled upon this board, or any other dachsie board for that matter, they'd think that we all needed to be committed! Thanks Guys, a bit of a set back last night. She woke us up about 2:30, really hacking away. She got up a bunch of gunk, as I call it, and then she was fine. She is getting better, it's just going to be a long road.

While I was up with her, Precious decided to "let loose" on the kitchen floor. She is a riot, follows me everywhere. Last night she was begging at the kitchen table! That didn't take long!

Susan, I am guesstamating that Queenie is about 5 or so. I think she may look a little older, because she has been so sick.

Dolly is doing well, lost some teeth, back on antibiotics, but she will be fine. Thank God!

Two more days till Precious goes to her forever home..YEAH!!

Hi Andrea,

Keep up the good work. I enjoy hearing the updates, especially when the news is good. It sounds like you will need a little R&R time when all this is done. The only problem is if your area is like this one it seems the rescue people almost never get a break. It tends to be either multiple individuals or whole groups of dogs in an almost non stop flow. I'm trying to remember (that's dangerous) but I believe Colorado Dachshund Rescue placed either 250 or 350 dogs last year.

The boys are sending kisses to Queenie and telling Precious not to worry they both have been through rescue but think I have given them an OK home even if dinner was a little late last night.

Thanks Tom,

Got 2 more in last night, it's awful. Two girls, one 8, one 9. They are at my vets now. One has a hernia, bad teeth, not spayed, the other isn't spayed, has mammorary gland tumors, and bad teeth. People are just rotten sometimes. These two were kept outside all the time and the woman was still breeding them! GRRRRR

Anyway, Dolly, is a little under the weather, her mouth is sore. Queenie is still coughing to beat the band. She wants out of the expen in the worst way.

Last night I brought her outside for some air. I made the mistake of putting her down. Little bugger took off like the wind, hacking away. I called her and she ran to me and jumped in my lap. She was coughing and wheezing so badly. It took a good 15 minutes for her to settle back down. I won't make that mistake again! My vet did say the fresh air would be good for her, next time I hold her!

Man, my house is way too busy with pups!

Sonya, we need a person in your area...interested? No pressure!
I am just wondering.

This has been a very stresssful last few weeks, and I so miss the DWD posts!

Queenie, is still bad, and going back in to the vets, we may change her meds. She is not responding as we had hoped.

I am so tired, and I wish , I could wave a magic wand and make these pups well. The reality is, that, that is not going to happen!

I just wish, all people, would be like us, and love these pups as we do, but again, reality sets in, and that is not the case.

I hope this isn't sounding hokey, but with everything I have been seeing the last few weeks, I wish there were many more of us.

I am going to go pet Queenie and then go to bed.

I want to thank all of you for being such good friends. I would be lost without all of you.

Andrea,

have your hubby and bed pups give YOU plenty of cuddles for all this backbreaking running around. Hope Queenie pull through fast.

My Stinky Sister, Diva, has been ill with a mystery thing. Last week,on Tues. nite she layed out by the porch gait and barked a sad little bark. Totally unlike her.

Frank said she couldn't walk and he carried her in. She ate and drank laying down in the kitchen. Then F. carried her into the "living" room (only 8 feet away) and there she stayed all night. I took her to the vet first thing- but by then she could rise and walk shakily around.

By the time I got her to the vets at 9AM she was spunky and only a little wobbly.

I was freaking out, thinking this old tumor thing was finally catching up to us all...

When I called the vet's at noon, he said she was fine, heavy (96#), but fine. She didn't have any ligament or bone problems... she didn't have a tumor ( it's a bunch of fat cells lumped together) and he thinks it may be a pinched nerve.

All that for $43.00! Wow!

Well, she was fine for one day and then it went back to the "I'm not walking- but I'm still hungry " attitude.
I give up! She wins! She has her bed on porch now and gets in every night. Frank wants to know if she can plot that far ahead...

as far as becoming a rescue person- I don't have any room in my cabin! I would if I could but Frank will have to add on...

I'll just have to keep donating and cheering you and others on for now.

Hip Hip Horray!
