Looking for mini dachsie near Toronto

My friend has a mini dachsie chihuahua cross. He's about 6mo old right now. She wants to adopt a mini dachsie as a play mate for her pup and also because she really likes these little guys. She has contacted some local rescues, but so far can't find the right dog.
Can anyone suggest any rescues or contacts to check out? Thanks.
