Tess just started agility this summer, but I went ahead and entered her in a NADAC trial this weekend. No Q's, but she did get a 2nd place in Novice A regular and a 3rd in jumpers. She also did tunnelers, but only placed 6th in that. The best part was that she had NO COURSE FAULTS... she was slow, but did everything as it should be done. I bought steaks for all the dogs to share. Lucy did not do anything except 1/3 of a tunnelers course --- at which point the leash runner distracted her and she left.

That's amazing, Rena- she really is a natural. It must feel so great to find her niche. Any pictures? I love seeing her "in her zone"- ears flapping and smiling from one to the other. :)

:cheer: Way to go Tess!!! :cheer:
Bailey LOVED the agility equipment on the last day of obedience. If I get this job, I will definitely enroll him in classes!

:cheer: Congratulations Tess and Rena! :cheer: I was thinking about setting up some jumps and tunnels for Kipper, I think he would be great at it. He needs to attend Obedience Training first so I guess I should get that scheduled!

Thanks! Linsey, are you going to be around in January? The beginner's class is on Monday nights, starting the 9th. I am hoping that Will'em can start then.
There were 5 CTDR dachshunds in the 8" novice class. I understand the others did well Sunday, but we had a meeting and could not go back... maybe next time!

I thought about starting him in January, but he HATES the cold. The last 3 obedience classes were in 40 degree weather or so and it was like pulling teeth!! It will probably be next fall when I can start him, unless I find out sooner that I got the job.

Wow! You are brave! I was only brave enough to enter Gigi for jumper! No regular... cuz I would probably trip myself and fall flat on my face. lol.
