I bought this toy a year or so ago. It is a Rabbit and it has a voice box instead of a squeaker. It makes a noise something like "deet-deet-deet-deet" when squeezed. Well this is Hoover's security blanket. He carries it everywhere. The other dogs pretty much leave it alone which is unusual for the toy killers but they seem to sense and respect his attachment to it. Anyway, I want to purchase a couple more. I cannot find where I got it!!! I have looked and looked. The tag that is left on it does not have anything other than made in China on it... Anyone seen these?

We WILL be on the lookout!! Trust me- I've been absolutely bowled over by the wonderful people on this board before- if there are more "deet-deet-deet" bunnies out there, we'll find them! ;)

Did you try Petco? Roxy has a frog from there that actually croaks like a real frog, maybe they have the bunny. The tag on her frog says " The Multi Group" Moonache, New Jersey, I hope it helps!

I think I found something similar, it is from Multipet International, I don't know how to post a link here, but it is a white 5" rabbit from their "Look Who's Talking" collection. It makes a "doink, doink, doink" sound. There web address is www.multipet.com. Oh boy, they have a lot of fun toys on there! :cheer:

I checked the Petsmart website. They didn't seem to have one. They did have the frog, but no bunny :sorry:

Can you believe it was a year ago that we were rescuing him?!? He brings so much joy and light to our lives. Everyone loves him and it is amazing what the other dogs will put up with from him.

I sent an e-mail to one of the vendors that I usually see at the agility matches..I know she carries a line of toys with voice boxes.... will let you know if she has something like that.

Most definetly will start the search for a bunny for Hoover. That precious sweetie needs his bunny. :hug2:

I tried to do a thorough search on line and the "Look who's Talking" bunny was the only one that kept coming up. Will'em gave it a high rating though when I played the sound it makes! He can't have one because he would destuff it and get to the batteries... he has already tried to go after the frog and bird that I have.

It's very hard to believe that's it been a year! I love to see his photos and to see how handsome he is. I just told my husband that the next doxie that we keep, I want it to be a red piebald (perferably long hair). We're stopping at 3 and will continue to foster, so he doesn't mind my early "choosing". :) And of course, that would only be if I could choose - usually the doxie chooses us. :dizzy:

I did the same exact thing! And had the same results. I did find a toy skunk and squirrel on a website that I'm going to check out further for myself. And the voice box type birds (there were a lot of them) looked pretty interesting too.

To start, I LOVE the name: Prayzpaws. On toys, there are quite a few out there right now that do "sounds" of different sorts. Have you checked Target? It's hard to know what's in your area, but Target & Wal-Mart are almost everywhere in the U.S.

On another note, we pur'd a 9 mo. old "agressive" puppy in Ore. about 3 mos. ago. Mayer LOVES anything w/a squeaker; problem is he can DESTROY all comers within approx. 4 mins. flat - I mean destuff & desqueak. Solution: The other night, Dennis happily showed up with a $12.00 toy marked: Guaranteed Indestructible! It was made out of fire hose material & had squeaker inside! We were elated. FOUR MINS. later, squeaker was on the floor, chewed in half, fire hose material was in shreds & Mayer was disappointed because there was NO stuffing. We looked on in awe! Anyone have any ideas! The problem is his puppy teeth, which I'm sure their "test dog" didn't have. They are like razors as all of you know & can cut thru anything! Thanks for any hints you might be able to supply. HANDSOME. Let it be known I love Hoover. You will have to start posting way more pictures of him. I have a big ole soft spot for those dd babies you know. Will start the search right away. Must be sure he's got his bunny.

Went to Eureka yesterday and checked out Target, K-Mart & Wal-Mart: NO BUNNY so far! Vewy, vewy disappointed! Was really hoping to have located SOMEthing along the line of what you're looking for. Easter is pretty darned far away but that just MIGHT be your goal whether you're up for that or not! AND I know your dog is NOT voting on Easter!

Well - - we'll just keep looking, kinda like the Energizer Bunny! Will keep you posted on my success or lack thereof! G
