I saw this article on dachshund.org. It's about a poor australian shepard who was rescued from a puppy mill. The story is very graphic, but definitely worth reading. As I read the story, tears streamed down my face for this girl and the conditions she had to live in. I am constantly amazed at how cruel we as "humans" can be. Beyond saying that, I am speechless by reading this horror story...

Hi Karen,

I have already read that story. I couldn't bring myself to see the pictures though. It really gave my emotions a great big tug.....on one hand I lost a lot of respect for the human race allowing stuff like this to happen. On the other hand the respect for humans was gained tenfold when I saw how hard these rescuers work and the horrible things that they have to see to save some of these poor souls.

I read that story too, I couldn't believe it. I was shocked, and just bawled, it tore me up. Now THAT STORY should be aired on T.V! That would get people's attention! Bless those kind souls who tried their best to save the Momma. I saw that story too. It was horrible. They should put her owners in a cage and let the maggots eat on them

Well, I could bring myself to see the pictures and they are just horrible! The poor dog.
