He finally had a run-in with Cocoa.
Bobo....is now tail-less :sob:
LOL actually it was really funny, Cocoa got really excited and was prancing around showing me and my boyfriend what she did. :dizzy: I just saw her running around with..what looked like a pink cotton ball. (It was a pink Bobo). Well, she has the rest of Pink Bobo to destroy and now Christmas Bobo too! :D By the looks of it, she is not a hard chewer AT ALL. We've had that Bobo for about 1 1/2 months and thats the only thing she's done to it. She's probably too interested in my earplugs :pullhair: LOL

Uh-oh! Well, they have to start somewhere. ;)
Poor Pink Bobo- I hope he/she gets a nice repair. At least she has a festive buddy, right? :)

Watch out Cocoa is just getting warmed up to be a typical toy destroyer. :D

Don't worry, she'll learn how to destroy things in seconds as she gets older. Milo had so many puppyhood toys that he loved. He never abused them AT ALL! Then.....things changed. He destroyed them one by one. Within about a week, he had no puppyhood toys left....I'm glad I took pictures!
Watch out toys....Cocoa's gonna getcha!

Heidi has plucked out small Bobo just about naked. I got her the bigger one and she had not gone after it the same way. The bigger (mauve) bobo had only lost a few threads. She seems to "pick on" the smaller toys, my little bully :eekdevil:

I had bought a few things for Lucky when he was little but they didnt last but a few minutes so I stopped buying any toys, esp. stuffed ones--so when Maggie Rae arrived she did not get any toys at all!! (I only have very durable balls for them to play with)--well, after reading and seeing some of the toys that you all have for your furries I felt bad and wound up buying a couple of toys the other day for them--they were sooooo excited when I got them out of the bag!!--a couple of rope things with balls on them and one generic bobo--(looks like a yellow duckie but has a long body and a squeaky)--they lasted, I think, a total of about 4 minutes--all 3 toys--destroyed!!
first they got the ends of the ropes untied and unraveled and started ripping wads of strings of the ends--then Maggie ripped the bear head off the end of the other ropey thing and gutted its puffy stuff and salvaged the squeaky--she had snuck it out of the kitchen while I was playing with Lucky and dissected it in another room!!--had to throw everyone away--
I often wondered if the breed was alike when it came to their ability to tear things to shreds--they are just not like other dogs--even my big Rudy (rescue dog) doesnt do as much damage as these 2 do!!
I am going Wednesday to Knoxville and I am going to try to find them a real bobo (all Lucky cares about is his red ball)--I wish that someone could come up with some things just for dachies that would last a little bit of time and to not have to worry so much about them--

The real BoBo won't last any longer! I either go to WalMart to get my stuffies or order them from Petegde. Both places have them for under $1.00. My boys enjoy destuffing the toys so much I continue to buy them, but I do go for the cheap ones! I don't get them the rope toys because they too have strings all over the house in no time. I worry about the strings getting caught up on their way through if you know what I mean! The stuffies I ordered from Petegde for xmas were very good quality too and they were on sale for .89!

yeah--those toys that I bought for them the other day were from Walmart at only $.88/ea--I think I will just stay away from them all together as I was doing before--they just dont last long enough and I am always nervous when they have them!!

My guys love to play with Mr Sock. Mr Sock was originally made for my golden. It is just a bunch of old men's sweatsocks stuffed inside one of the tube socks and tied off at the end. When they rip it open and destuff it, I just take one of the "inner" socks and stuff everything into that one. When we run out of "inner" socks, then I start stitches the holes (now divorced, no more source of used men's sock) in the socks and start all over again. Nothing for them to swallow and you can toss them in the washer when they get too gross :yuck:
