Yippee! Vienna earned her Novice Agility and Novice Agility Jumpers titles !
And brought home a slew of red and blue ribbons!
Her last 2 "Q's" were with scores of 100 ! That was the coolest part of all!
I am so proud of her. Now we begin competing in Open....and it all gets a bit harder.
Meanwhile, little sister, Stella, has decided she doesn't want to play. She is being pokey and stops to bark at the judge, the ring stewards...the crowd....she is sooo distracted.
Poor little scaredycat is very intimidated by the other dogs and the people.
We are going to give her a break from agility training and spend some time with private lessons doing obedience for a while.
I have an appt scheduled for her with a pet pyschic to see if I can learn why she is so scared of people...and what I can do to help her. I also hope to learn why she won't run --fast-- on the course....this will be interesting. :-)
I have heard amazing things about this pyschic and what she has doen for others....can't wait to see what she tells me.

What a good job. Keep up the good work. Maybe Stella just want to be a cheer leader:cheer:

Thanks all. We really do have fun! I have been given such a hard time by some doxie owners.....some think agility is dangerous, but these are people who hardly allow their dachshunds to walk, much less jump.
We have done Teacup Agility too, and that is fun. The obstacles are all scaled down and look like toy agility stuff. They have games, and I found that to be fun.
