Puppies destroy most anything they can get their mouths around. Thus- I don't think that something like this exists. You'll see soon enough why. ;)

well i'm imagining a toy that is like a teddy bear soft and inside it has a very hard to c hew middle wherre i can put my photo and it will stay intact because its very thick and unchewable. i don't know why but i think it might exist.

That is a cute idea, but, my dogs destroy everything they get in less than 20 minutes.

I don't think there is anything a determined Doxie can't chew through.:D

I've got a better idea - how about a nice toy with HER picture in it for YOU to enjoy..... :D I think you're a lot more likely to find one like that!

(Another cool thing is to get those photo frames that you can record a message in/on... We got one for each of our kids when they headed off to college. We put a photo of Penny & Mags in the frame. DH rang the door bell and I hit 'record' so we got a nice 'message'. :) It would be even more sweet with little puppy barks!)

And sad but true: dogs don't recognise people on photographs. Save your money or buy something that squeaks! :)

so if you want something to remind him of you when you're away, give him something with your body scent on it, like a couple of old socks tied together that you've worn, but don't need anymore. Be careful with puppies though - they like to chew and you don't want to have him swallowing pieces of anything he can chew to bits. Barbara

I have seen treat balls where you can record your voice. That would help to keep puppy company during the day. Put part of his/her kibble ration in the treat ball, so you don't get a rolly polly puppy.

You might get one of those shirts printed (like at the mall kiosks) and sew it into a toy. (I'd stay away from the iron on ones you can print on - they might not be good for a pup.)

There are some toys (I think jbpet.com) that you can record your voice.
