I think this is another one of those personal choice issues. I would never not have one of my pups kiss me on the lips. But some people are afraid of getting germs or some such thing. But I have never heard of anyone getting sick from a dog kiss ( unless the breath was real bad:D ). It is the dog's way of expressing his love for you. So kiss away and do what I do, just ignore people like that.

I kiss Maggie Rae on the top of the head--I dont know if it is because she is a pupper still or what but she doesnt seem to know how to use her tongue yet--she hardly ever gives kisses--she gives cold eskimo kisses instead!!--Maggie Rae has a terrible habit of eating cat poop whenever she can so I stay away from there!!-Lucky has never ate poop of any kind!--

Who WOULDNT want dachsie kisses!! Dragon is a kisser. He wants kisses constantly, and he gets them, from mom and dad! He'll kiss till you make him stop, and I find it so sweet and funny.

We have a big dog 'walk' (for charity) here every spring, and after the walk, they have contests. I am SO going to enter Dragon for the 'kissiest dog' I dont have any doubts he can win!

I kiss Buff and Tucker on the lips, but especially on the side of their soft little muzzles. Buff isn't a big licker, (unless its 3am and I'm dead asleep, then I'll wake to her washing my toes.) Tucker will lick your skin off and even though he has his teeth brushed regularly, his breath is foul. He doesn't really care much for me bestowing kisses on him though. I do anyway. Buffy just eats up all the attention. While she doesn't give as many kisses as Tucker, she sure loves to get them.

I let my dogs kiss me and I kiss them too......I'm not into the up the nose kisses either but Lucy is really good at trying to sneak one of those in, and she likes frenchies too....GROSS! But I would not have it any other way. My dogs can kiss my face anytime and I do the same to them. They are my children and the greatest joys of my entire life :D

I kiss my dog anywhere he likes, the top of the head, the lips, and he especially like it when I kiss the tip of his nose, it always prompts him to give me a kiss back, so kiss away. I personally agree with everyone here, it's your business, and it's probably cleaner to kiss your dog on the lips than others think. That's their problem, not yours!.

I try...TRY to avoid mouth kisses from the weiners......but they're both very inventive and manage to lay one on me from time to time. I wouldn't object to kissing them on the mouth except I've seen what they lick :faint: My son has no problems at all with slobbering on and being slobbered on by both dogs. I always tell him they're kissing him to get that "just-licked-my-butt" taste out of their mouths :D

She almost always messes up my hair and makes my bangs all wet. Who am I to take that joy away from her. And between you and me, I LOVE it.
