I was so excited I'm surprised y'all couldn't hear me hooping & hollering! My boys sure did, and Dallas was barking his head off at Amos. Yay dachsies! Here we go to Best in Show!!!

I just got home from the show and IT WAS SO GREAT! It was so neat seeing those dachshunds and then to have one of them win first... I was pretty excited. Hehe... The show was great. We got seats where we could see them before they went out into the main section, so it was neat seeing them getting ready and just hanging out before they went out to show. That longhaired baby had such a pretty face. The wire though sure was a beauty. Okay, anyhow... was definitely worth going to. :)

Agreed. It had been advertised for days on Discovery Channel, but when i tuned in last night, IT WASN,T THERE!!!!! I was so ticked off.

I stayed up late to watch the hound group and wouldn't you know it, our power went out just as they started showing the dog before the dachshunds:pullhair: Had to read it on the internet this norning, not the same. Going to try to catch repeat today, if the wind and ice ever stop!

They will probably re-run it today, the second half (including best in show) is supposed to air at 8PM EST/5PM PST and again at 8PM PST on the west coast. So, I imagine they will run yesterday's show right before tonight's.

I missed Friday night, didn't know it was on, but did get to see him with all the other group winners. So cute the way he walked, not exactly a prance, or strut; and the big smile!!

It will be repeated Friday Jan. 27, thank goodness. My calendar is marked!

Having seen Amos at a local show (he flew in for the weekend of a 4 day event), I must say he is a gorgeous representative both in conformation and temperment!!! He loves everyone and is willing to meet anyone :)
