I don't know how to make a poll where you have the bullets and everyone can click on what they vote on :dizzy: ....so here goes:

-At what age did you teach sit, down, stay....and have those commands mastered with your pup?

-At what age did you teach shake (as in shake hands), roll-over and have those commands mastered with your pup?

-At what age did you teach any other special trick like "play dead" and have that command mastered with your pup?

(List any other tricks/commands you have taught your furbabies :) )

Both mine were adult rescues so I'm just glad they potty outside..I did teach Oliver to speak for me when I'm giving him a treat..and he was 5 at the time.

On the other hand I got my Cocker Spaniel Coco (RIP) when she was a little pup. She was about twelve weeks and she has the sit, down, shake, and pretty command down pat. The more complicated tricks she learned when she was about 8 or 9 months.

With Tia, she mastered the basic commands by 9 months or so she started learning at 3 months. With Tango (my only bigger dog that I've had since a pup), she mastered all of her basic commands plus more by the time she was 3 1/2 months. She started learning at 3 months aswell.

Tia only knows how to roll-over as far as tricks go, she learned that when she was almost a year old, it only took her a couple weeks. Tango's the only other of my dogs that knows tricks and she knows waaaay too many to list. She learned most of her tricks by 5 months and is still learning new things.

My answer is much similar to the answer I gave above.
