Shakti'd birthday...she's 9 today

[COLOR=Pink]I'm not sure if people post about their dachsie's birthdays here or not but I know some boards/newsletters where dachsie folks do, so I thought it may be okay to post this here too.

Our Ms. Shakti had her 9th birthday today. She spent her birthday today climbing all over the woodpile in her never ending search for rats, chasing Gaudi around the fireplace, sitting in the sun, enjoying some chicken with us at lunch, having a nice 2 hour hike near sunset at the National park here and then coming home to her nightly pig ear piece (she is an addict, but we forgive her). We are very glad we have Ms. Shakti in our lives and hope we have her with us many more years.
