On December 18, 2005, Minnie crossed the rainbow bridge. She was only 5 years old but thought the earth revolved around her. She was full of spunk and character that doxie's are know for. She was the apple of her hoomom's eye.
Earlier in the year Minnie began to have epileptic seizures. After living through several bouts (to establish a pattern/history), Minnie was placed on phenobarbitol to help control them. The drug ended up poisoning her liver and causing her to become anemic. In a drastic attempt to save the poor girl, she went through a complete blood transfusion to rid her body of the medications and give her liver a chance to heal. She never recovered.
The memories of her antics and ever present love live on in our lives. We know that she is in heaven now giving the angels hell!
Here are a couple of pics of our expressive baby girl:

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. :( She was adorable. It looks like she's trying to smile in the second photo.
Losing a loved one, human or pet, is hard. Even though it's hard on us left behind, be comforted in knowing that she isn't suffering any more. I like to think that our little angels are having a great time together and are waiting for the day we are united once again.

:thanx: for sharing your gorgeous sweet baby with us.
Many of us here at DBB know the pain of losing furkids . . . you have our deepest sympathies - and - we are right here, with you and for you.
The pain does lessen with time and one day we will see them all at the Bridge . . . playful and in perfect health. Remember the good times.

I know that Minnie will remain in your heart forever and will be at the bridge waiting with the rest of our children who have passed before her. It is so hard to lose one so young and full of life. Please take care and let her spirit guide you forward.
