Specialties and publications

Hi! We're new to this forum and to Dachshund ownership. We would like to know if there are Dachshund shows in the Alabama (Birmingham and east) area or even in the Georgia (Atlanta and west)area? Also, are there publications we can subscribe to that will give us information re: specialties, shows, etc. Thanks!!

There are a number of source you can check.
One is the Dachshund Club of Metropolitan Atlanta (http://www.dcma-atl.org/) which is hosting this years DCA National Specialties... Field, Agility, conformation etc. Field events will be held in North Ga. (Lafayette) and the conformation and agility is going to be at Calloway Gardens.

For regular show information you can always check out the site of the different show Superintendents like Onofrio (http://www.onofrio.com/) , Rau (http://www.raudogshows.com/) or Infodog (http://www.infodog.com/)
