Jen, let me know what you find out before I grab for either Penny's Aunt's baseball bat or Pamela's imaginary gun.

<IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm23.gif" border=0> UNPRODUCTIVE DOGS????<IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm23.gif" border=0> Roxane is right--that's mill language if ever I heard it.

My guess, Jen: They wouldn't surrender, even if you got through. (Never heard of that phone thing--they won't take calls from unlisted numbers??? Guess they don't get too many calls from single women in cities!)

Maybe we all need to fish out those old checks from checking accounts we no longer have and use them to "buy" "UNPRODUCTIVE DOGS" from mill scum.

Either that or the bat. <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm4.gif" border=0>

Jen, It sounds like they have anonymous call blocking. I had to do that when some of my university students decided it would be fun to call at 2 or 3 AM. After about a week, I put in call blocking. Now I get sleep at night. All you have to do is turn off the feature that makes you "anonymous" or call from another phone that does not have that feature enabled. I know some of my friends hated it when I did that, but ...

We have lots of these "unproductive" sales in Texas right now -- paper is full of them. Must be the season. They do not seem to be willing to reduce the price or put their dogs in rescue. Rather, they dump their dogs at shelters or pounds or on the side of the road. Good Luck! Rena

Hi Jen:
In the front of your phone book (can't say which page, every area's book is slightly different) there is the instruction on how to shut off, temporarily, the call block thing you have on your phone. After that call, it will revert back to the way you had it before, without you having to do anything.
I've done it on our phone and it works.
