Any picnics in TX?

I always see advertisments for dachshund picnics, or weiner fest...but never close to TX. Anyone know of any in the Tx area? Maybe Houston area? I would LOVE to go to a picnic like this, but only ever see ones advertised for Ca. Thanks, Jenn

In April there is a weiner dog race in Buda, Texas....its a huge two day event that crowns a champion...there is food, cook-offs and tables with lots of items for sale. Central Texas Dachshund Rescue always has a table to show off available rescue dogs and sell items to help raise money. There is a doggie parade as well....its fun!
