2006 Florida Dachshund Rescue picnic

Hello old friends,

Just wanted to announce that the Florida Dachshund Rescue picnic is officially on again in 2006, but with a new location in Lutz, Florida, just a few miles north of Tampa.

The date is May 27, 2006 (exact times to be announced), at Lake Park in Lutz.

Hope those in the region can stop by for a fun day. We'll have eats, raffles and a lot more -- oh, and of course, lots of doxies on hand.

Hmmmm. I live in Tampa so I think I'll check it out! Are there going to be available doxies for adoption too?

I'm thinking the timing will be just about right to get Mya a brother or sister!

We'll have foster doxies at the picnic, but there won't be any adoptions made at the event -- unless you have already been through the application process, been approved and arranged with the foster home to pick up your new furkid at the picnic. Our adoption process can be lengthy, because we need to call references, talk with you, and conduct a home visit.
