I know alot of us have more than one doxie or other animals. u can put more than one answer or explain in the post. One of my doxies will not give u puppy kisses for nothing. He is a sweet dog but no licks. My other three lick my face off! :hug2:

Junior is a big licker ...i try to get him to stop but it doesnt do any good Mickey not so much but he joins in with Junior in licking my leg or foot lol..but Junior licks more than the both of the two

Schatz gives kisses, but doesn't make a habit of licking. Kipper on the other hand is always licking one of us. He can't be near me with out licking my feet or legs. It drives me crazy! That is how I actually get my DH out of bed in the morning. Put Kipper and Schatz on the bed and watch them go to town on my DH's face. They love his mustache! This is the only thing that will get him out of bed!

My girls would lick your face off if you would let them. Phoebe is partial to ears and toes. She loves to not only lick these, but nibble as well (walking around my house barefoot is not a good idea :D ), and Zoe just loves to lick everything. She especially likes to make sure that your nose is cleaned out.

Taffy loves to lick when she is being stokes....like petting us back. I caught her licking her beloved fish the other day, while she was in the crate. She licked him like a mama cat, then put him under the covers.

Oh my gosh! It's to the level of being an obsession. Sometimes we won't let her keep licking us and then we think she's had an accident...when in actuality she's just licked a huge wet spot on the furniture.

I guess if that's one of the few things she does that's bad we can live it.

I had to laugh about the in-the-nose licking....I thought Maisy was the only one to do that! It drives me nuts, it feels so oogy.

Both she and Larry are crazy-kissers, especially first thing in the morning or when I get home from work at night. Larry is sooooo cute sometimes when we are sitting on the couch he'll start creeping up my chest very slowly while staring at me intently and creep right on up and give me some kisses. It's almost like you can see it in his mind. "I wanna kiss Momma, and I'm gonna kiss Momma!!"

Tucker is a licker, he can even growl at me and wash my face at the same time (I wonder sometimes if its a groan or a growl) He has deadly breath also. I've just started brushing his teeth now that I'm fairly certain I'm not going to get bit, and the kisses are a little more bearable.
Buffy has to greet each child with kisses when they stagger out of bed. With me its one little soft kiss and then she'll lay her forehead against mine and just cuddle like that. She does love toes though. The stinkier the better. She also licks and grooms the cat and the cat will return the favor at the same time.

I love this old post. Now that we have Mz Kizzy it sure fits. The boys both are lickers at times. Especially when I go to bed. Zor licks my shin'z, go figure. But he sleeps down under the blankets and has to lick till he falls asleep.
But Mz Kizzy is none stop at licking if you would let her. We called her kissy face at first but I didn't want that to stick for her name. So that is how she got to be Mz Kizzy.

Dragon never stops licking. Ever. If he cant lick Mom or Dad, he'll go find the cat. He will lick any part of us he can get to, feet, legs, arm, whatever. We have finally just given up on trying to get him to cut it out, and we just give in and let him do it. We do have 'No face kissing' though. Sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesnt.

Our Casper who died a few months ago was the kissing king! We use to say that he had an "eveready tongue"! Tammy & Lil are big kissers but certainly not as much as Casper. Charlie is stingy with kisses and most are directed to your hands. He now will give the occassional kiss to my face and his latest routine is to kiss my face in the morning to wake me up - when no one is watching! Believe me, if Charlie gifts you with a smooch you feel honored. :hearts:

It all depends on who is beside Ellie. If she is beside my husband then she will lick him where ever she can find skin.. Cassidy's mom, again..I'm pretty worried about the reverse sneezing thing... she really looks panicked when its happening...I'll try the nose plugging next attack, see if that helps...does anyone know if this is reversable? Is it in ANY way like sleep apnea? For dogs?? Can't people die from this? Should I be freaked out that my baby girl could have something like that happen to her?? i cant even type it out!!!

I to get concerned when they do reverse sneezing,snokiting, etc.
some say it is sort of like a tickle or inhaling wrong ..
I ususally say shh , and lightly rub their neck , or lightly blow on their face , has sort of a distraction. I may do something differnt for each one , I just try to sooth them.

I feel that I want to make sure they are .. has badly has it sounds.. just having a reserve sneeze , instead of something more serious .so Ialways go to them and be with them will they are having one.
