Where does your doxie like to hang out?

I know my doxies do all the above and depending on what I am doing and where I am and the weather to which one for the moment.

First the heating vents on her special pillow, next would be window sunbathing, and third would be on a pillow on the couch.

I had to pick all of the above. Windows, patio doors, couch, where ever there might be a ray of sunshine.

On cold and dreary days it's in their bed covered up with blankies or in front of the fireplace on their big bone bed.

But the ultimate favorite place for both of them is in the big bed with me :D

I voted other...as Cocoa's favorite place is either on my or my bf's lap while chewing on her bone. I have to admit, she would rather be on my lap, but if I am not avaliable she will go to my bf. The part that drives my bf crazy is when I sit down and Cocoa grabs her bone, jumps off of him and dives to my lap and plants her little tush down for as long as I am sitting there. :cloud9:

She who cleans her butt, ears, toes, anything else she can get dirty, and is the giver of food and treats is the favored one. Hehehe....mommy gets all ther purks....lol ;)

Collie and Josie love to be outside in the garden..... and when it is raining like today, they really get depressed. Collie likes to lie in the grass especially where it is long. Josie sits under the lapa (thatched patio area) and faces the sun. They let me know from a very early age that they didn't like being stuck inside. So from 10 weeks old they were outside. Luckily our garden is very secure and they have a kennel in the lapa for shelter.

I had to pick about all of the above also, they love the sun, but if no sun is shining in then it is under their blanky, or inthe crate, or on the sofa, or on my lap.....Most of the time they are all right around me until i can't move!!! Sometimes i will just sit there just so i don't disturb my little angel poohs.:D

Olana likes to hang out on the couch with her head in a blankie. We used to have a pet bed for her, but she ate them

Now she eats the blankie in her crate or the water cup in the crate. :help:

Currently (at my sister's house) Heidi's favourite place is the living room heat vent. It is in front of the patio doors for her patch of sunshine. When the sunshine passes, then she sticks her head under her blankie for a nap.

Valentin loves the corner of the sofa - it is over the heat vent with a great view of the patio doors.

Everyone loves snuggling under the electric blanket at bedtime.

Mathilda likes the sun... In a window, in the doorway, where ever she can find it. She also likes to be buried under the covers on the big bed, and she likes to hide under the table curled up in her bed, or under all the blankets in their kennel.

Dino likes the sun, too, but he prefers a big patch on the floor. He likes curling up in the blankets in their kennel, or in my lap, or in a big pile with the other two on a blanket on the sofa.

Faust... Faust likes sun patches on the floor, he tolerates the kennel, he tolerates the weenie pile on the sofa, but his favorite place to hang out ever is my lap, curled up between my legs as close as he can get.

The only time she is not right with me is when we are out in the yard, then its all about the lizards!!

I would have to say anywhere I am. Except for the one time in the morning when the sun shines through the storm door and he is lying in his sunny :sunny: patch. Any other time he is right up under me. I never in my life thought that I would have a pee partner, but if I head towards the shower and start running water he :seeya: the other way!!! Not tonite though, cuz it is bath day. :bath: The frito feet is getting a bit overwhelming. If he can see me in his eyeline then he stays where he is at and puts the stare on me. But if I disappear he ain't far behind to see what I'm up too.

I picked in their special places. Moses loves the bed, Paige likes the bottom shelve of our book shelve unless my four year old is around then it is wherever he is, and Oscar loves his chair or right behind my back. lol

Now that the weather has started turning "fall like" here in MI, Tucker makes a zoomie for the kitchen register - especially after potty time in the morning. Otherwise..........any lap will do just fine.

Hmm lets see.....Aside from my lap or under my woobie Panzer LOVES the rug in front of the door with the square of sun (the rug cause of course he WILL NOT lay on hardwood or linoleum!), and he likes his bed/basket. But the new thing is he lives on top of the couch cushions!!! I swear this dachsie is half cat, he has 2 favorite cushions one that is infront of a window and the other is just a cushion that he picks when not looking out the window and making threatning growly noises to let every one know that its his house/yard and to STAY OUT!!!!:D I just love dachshund's wierd personality quirks!:heartbt:

Monster and Bica like to snuggle up against each other and snooze. :) They have become quite the pair those two. :D

Other than as close to me as possible, Petey can usually be found either in his bed or dogging the poor cat all over the house. Chief takes refuge on the back of the couch; the first day we brought him home, that's where he went, so I tucked a blankie up there and that's where he goes to chill and sleep.

They MUST be near me at all times!
When I'm on the computer doing school work or whatever, Truffles
is in her bed (sleeping or chewing on toys) next to me. Weasel will
jump up on the spare bed in here and snooze.

If I walk out and don't come back for a few minutes, they come looking
for me! When I sit on the sofa to watch TV, they each take a side and attach themselves to my hips!

Cody spends most of his day on the back of the couch looking out the front window. I know, I know. He shouldn't be up there. But he uses a ramp to get up to the couch and he lays in the sun on the top of the couch with a leg on either side and when he wants to get down he plops down onto a couch pillow and then runs down the ramp. Its as safe as we can make his little world and he can bask like a little lizard.
