scan the picture -you should open scanning software and follow the cues.

Save the scanned pic to your hard drive.
I always save the files as jaypeg files (.jpg)

attach them to an email to photos@photopoint.com and send it

does that help at all???

If you save them to a disk, you won't lose all your hard work if your drive crashes. Just label a disk MY SUPER DACHSIE PHOTOS, & load it up!

Hmmm, let's see if I remember this.

I have pictures on a CD, but I'm guessing it's much the same. First I saved them
to a place on my hard drive that I would remember, then I went to
photopoint/QuickLogon, selected upload photos, selected Easy upload, clicked
browse and point to the photos on my hard drive and clicked upload now. Then
it shows as Incoming Photos (something like that) and ya click something on the
left (Iforget the name of the link, but when I clicked help - it told me how to move
the photos from Incoming to an album).

That's the best I can do going from the memory of doing it once . . . I hope it
helps.

Mark

As Sue said . . . you can also save them to a disk and upload them from there.

Krista's advice was very simple and good. If you already have a scanner, scan the image and save it as a .jpg file. I save mine on a disk for safety. Then send an email to photopoint with an attachment of your .jpg file. I've only been able to send 3-4 pictures at one time in any one given email.

When you email your attached files, you will receive an email back, saying that your pictures are ready to go. They will be in an "Incoming Pictures" folder or "album". You can either keep them there, or move them to a special folder/album you've created.

When you click on the album, you will see little pictures. You could click on an individual picture there in order to enlarge it. But in order to get a usuable address to post the pics here, you need to click on that enlarged photo and it will bring to another screen with just the picture on it. There will be no words or title for the picture. That is photopoint's offical address or url for that picture.

When you get this official address, that is what you are going to use to post the picture here. The format is exactly as follows:

insert your photopoint url here

Does that help?

Thanks you everyone for all your help.

My husban knows all of these things but he is away on a business trip this week. I know he can do the .Jpg file thing.

I dont know all of this cumputer stuff. I only use it for all my doggie sites. Mostly I just use the internet.

I work part time as a Fitness Instructor, the rest of my time is spent raising my son (and dachsie's)http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif Needless to say I am a computer dudhttp://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/eek3.gif

Thanks again everyone.
