Both Merry and Badger completed this weekend in an agility trial sponsored by the DFW English Springer Spaniel Assoc.

Merry did her best be she has decided weave poles are foreign objects and didn't qualify either Sat or Sun.

Badger on the other hand had a better weekend. Badger earned 1st place and the second leg towards his Excellent A Jumpers title.. he needs one more. He also earned the first leg, and second place, towards his open standard title.

He came very close to qualifying today as well... but a bobble at the weaves in jumpers cost him his title and his unwillingness to do a down in a timely manner in Standard kept him out of the money.

*but* any time you can take home a couple of ribbons and 'Q's in a weekend is a GREAT weekend!

I'm a VERY proud mom!

Congrats Karen! Sounds like you had a great weekend! One of these days I will find a club! I have emailed a couple of them in my area and haven't heard back from them yet.

Congrats to your pups. Don't know too much about agility but it looks like a fun thing to do. I stumbled onto a competition in Cleburne last year. The small puppers were so cute. I really got a kick out of watching.
