I mentioned about a month ago that my Meetup group got a mention in the Sunday Washington Post. Well, membership has exploded since then, and I now have potentially 80 people slated to attend between the 50+ Yes RSVPs and almost 30 Maybe's. Holy cow, you guys!
I've put together an awesome dachsie trivia challenge which I think will be fun for everyone, and have invested in some terrific prizes thanks to my stumbling upon that store, Wylie Wagg, and having lost the ability not to spend money in the presence of dachsie related stuff.
My one big investment for the group is a 3' x 4' Meetup banner with our name and website address on it that will go up on the entrance to the small dog area of the dog park.
I was getting burned out on being the organizer, but I guess I got my mojo back, because I'm having a blast doing this again! Yay for mojo!! :cheer:
Just wanted to share. I'd be more than happy to share the trivia quiz with anyone who wants to see it...after my Meetup next Sunday, the 23rd.
