Two password questions

I have two password questions

1) most of the time when I type in my user name on the form the password I was assigned automatically appears...but sometimes it doesn't and then I have to go and look it uphttp://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/grrr.gif How can I fix it so the password <u>always</u> shows up?

2) is there any ways to <u>change</u> the password? It's so hard to remember when it's just a random series of small and cap letters.

I'll answer those in reverse order,

2) To change your password go to Profile at the top right corner of the board Main page, type in your current name & password, and click Submit. You will be taken to the page where you can change anything in your profile.

1) To "set" your name & password . . . make sure your browser accepts cookies, go to Preferences at the top right corner of the board Main page, the Store Username and Password option should default to YES and save the change. Some Netscape users (like me) have found that sometimes this has to be done periodically.

PS- One other tidbit . . . If in changing info on your Profile you ever change your email address . . . you will be sent a new system generated password (almost immediately) . . . then you will have to go back into Profile and change the password to whatever you want.
