I read somewhere that you can in fact buy the large dog size of Advantage, or Frontline Plus, 90lb size and use it on small dogs... it is the same strength with the same ingredients the only difference is the amount you use... so many ml instead of "by the tube," I can pay $12 for one tube to treat a 10lb dog, or I can pay $13 to treat a 90lb dog, which would be enough to treat 9 10lb dogs! Anyway... that is just what I read, I haven't done it, but wonder if anyone does or knows how to figure out how many ml to use per pound?

Personally, I wouldn't mess with the manufacturer's specifications in a product that can be potentially toxic when applied too much.
Just my two cents...

I am willing to research it enough before hand, to make sure it is safe!
Treating 3 dogs and 3 cats really adds up!

I have divided up the frontline but not the advantage, my vet told me how, but it has been so long I don't remember, I have 5 and can do all of them for the same as one.

I'd ask your vet, but personally, I wouldn't mess with something so toxic. I'd be worried I might do something wrong.

I agree with the others. I don't think it was designed to be split up & used on more than one dog. I don't think you can calculate the right amount to be totally effective. JMO I know it can be expensive. :yikes2: I buy for 3 dogs & 1 cat, so I understand. I recently purchased Frontline Plus through drsfostersmith.com and paid approx. $10 less per box than what I have previously paid. It may have been a sale but you might check it out.:D
