little gliche?

Probably just my server but any time I try to send a private message, it comes back saying the person doesn't exist as a member. The automatic update always includes some sort of [] format inserted into the name. When I go back and put in their name myself or delete that []thing, the message sends. -Georgette

Hi Georgette,

Is it possible that the person to whom you are trying to send a private message has a special character (such as an apostrophe) in their user name? Unfortunately the private message feature doesn't recognize special characters... i.e, instead of an apostrophe, you'll see [APO]. If this happens, remove the [APO] and replace it with an apostrophe and it should work. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
